I like how i get kicked from the tower to be told it is my connection issue when in reality i have a stellar connection and you have shitty low quality servers. OWN YOUR PROBLEMS BUNGO

They always blame it on us. In Gambit just now it was running fine and then I couldn’t pick up any motes. There was no slow down in movement or weapon fire and then I was kicked out. Checked my net speed on the iPad by my chair and it was fine. Then I got the threat about leaving because it impacts other players. Funny, they ignore all our complaints about bugs in the game, but Gambit seems to be special. Stop punishing players for hiccups in the internet. It’s just a stupid game and no one got killed. Grow the hell up, Bungle!

1 Replygame is p2p hosted other players host most things, sometimes its you and sometimes its one of the other players in the instance it is definitely a given player's connection we've been asking for dedicated servers forever, with high tick rates to ensure good hit detection - ignored

getting a comp suspension because of leaving a comp game after my 3 teammates were ddossed 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

1 Replycould be worse, could be gta's connection.

1 ReplyEngineering Lead Matt Segur on the server models 2 years: “We really believe this is the best model for all of Destiny 2's varied cooperative and competitive experiences.” “As a team we’ve got no regrets about the unique technology we’ve built for Destiny 2.” So basically it was based on belief and hope, wish they would have used their experience from D1 instead which already proved that P2P isn't the way to go. Here we are 2 years later, with the same result if not worse than D1. I also like this quote: “That means you will never again suffer a host migration during your Raid attempt or Trials match.” Instead we just get disconnected completely, I mean he's not wrong but...

6 RepliesI never complain about lag in D2. To me, it's always been a major improvement. I decided to play some Iron Bullshit tonight to progress the ridiculous quest and all I can say is holy shitballs is that lag bad tonight. What happened to PvP? It's never been this bad for me.
-
18 RepliesImagine having P2P in this day and age in a game that's pretty much an MMO. But I guess it's fair, Bungie being a struggling independent development studio.
-
2 RepliesEdited by PedalOnTheRight: 7/25/2019 2:10:28 PMThe Destiny 2 architecture really is crap. I play other online games and rarely have any issues. D2 PvP is completely unfixable trash and I don't even care anymore about missing triumphs or quests that require PvP. Just not worth the aggravation.

Oops! You left a gambit match. No. No I didn't...
-
1 Replywell technically, Bungie makes and of player become host server so that they can blame you when your got disconnected. You can't say that Bungie has shitty server because Bungie has no server
-
-
11 RepliesThen why don’t I get constantly disconnected?
-
Wired connection no packet lost but it's still your connection that is bad. Yeah right bungie
-
Maybe we will all be on Xbox servers soon playing Destiny.
-
When you have a wired connection amd Bungie spams you error code Canary while you're in a party talking to your friends 😵😵😵
-
Are you wired?
-
Damnit bungie fix your servers Bungie: it's not us it's you. We don't have these issues with other games. Bungie: Well I don't know what to tell you brah! Try resetting your router. If that doesn't work use ethernet cord. If that doesn't work call your internet provider. Maybe you need a new modem. (After buying brand new router and upgrading internet and problems persist) Damnit Bungie fix your servers! Bungie: it's not us it's you! I upgraded everything! I got a new modem, wired connection, and better internet. Bungie: I don't know what to tell you brah! Try resetting your router. If that doesn't work switch from wifi to ethernet. If that doesn't work call your internet provider. Maybe you need better equipment.

3 RepliesBump because Bungo ignores. The app has the same lame issues. " Failure to load, check connection". LMAO 😂
-
You know it's everyone else, not Bungie. Duh!

1 ReplyMy internet has no data cap and it goes up to 400mps. Everytime I do an internet test on my ps4 it's usually at 250-300 mps. I only ever get kick from comp or for some reason I get stuck in spectator mode then I get an error message saying check my internet when in fact this is the only game in encounter this. I want to be able to see my ping cause sometimes it's very questionable.
-
5 RepliesGood luck Bungie in trying to convince me to purchase the next DLC.
-
I always laugh when that happens. Bungie has no accountability for their own mistakes
-
You would think after all these years, money, issues and customers being pissed, they would buy dedicated servers
-
or when you get a ban from crucible for your connection, when you have good internet on every other game.

Meanwhile, every help article: "Stop blaming our servers for your shitty connections"
