Bungie likes to dictate what you use vice letting the players dictate what they like to use. It’s why the “fun” has been taking out of Destiny. A PVE weapon like the Whisper was fun to use and never hurt another guardian it just brought fun to a boss fight where heavy is hard to come by since they didn’t bring another fun item called ammo synthesis over from D1. There is no fun in scrounging around for heavy bricks or having to save your heavy for the boss fight in a looter shooter game...shooting stuff, blowing it up or melting bosses like with The Ghally is what made the game fun...knowing you grinded your ass off for the secrete weapon that others are craving is what made the game fun....period.

Perk called heavy ammo finder found on multitudes of armor. You're welcome. Now you just have to take your lazy ass, run around the map and pick up heavy. Reload your weapon and rinse repeat. I agree it was overnerfed. But ffs.

Wow that's you congrats. But it still doesn't work properly
-
You mean the perk that doesn't work if you have multiple pieces with it that one.....
-
Works perfectly fine for me so yes it's what I mean. Although rngesus could bless us more on occasion.

Yeah another player who believes everyone should like the way they play. Been with Destiny since the beginning. You state the obvious with armor perks and you just miss the entire point I was making. Have fun running around picking up ammo my friend. Let’s just hope that your armor perks did the trick lol. Heavy ammo synthesis was a guaranteed drop every 5 min although heavy still dropped from adds you always had the guaranteed backup when it was time to fight the boss.

You missed the part where he said fun. Keep in mind that the quest to get whisper isn't easy, even at 750 light unkess you've done it before or have friends to carry you. Not like it's origin story or something. It's an exotic sniper, in the heavy slot no less. It should do more Tha fire a few shots without reloading. That's not fun, it's useless.

Nothing fun in having to save ammo, hence not use weapons, in a FPS. Totally agree. A significant downfall in Bungie’s offer proposition.
