For the last time. NO.
Bungie already stated on more than one occasion that it’s not possible due to the way they were designed, matchmaking was patched in at the last min and they were never designed to be launched from orbit.
ITS NEVER HAPPENING.

That should tell you right there about their design flaw. Every activity should be launch-able from orbit. Simply via database rights disable certain fields. Thus restricting that activity from such a feature. Now down the road you can orbit launch anything or matchmake.

the way the forge was designed, yes, not to be launched from orbit, but the way the matchmaking was made, no. If you want to test this theory for yourself, start matchingmaking for a forge and spam b, cirlce or esc. This will take you back to orbit, showing that you can go seamlessly between to 2

No you are still on the planet of the forge... open the map.. its like loading up a mission. It just puts you somewhere else.

while it shows you on a map, you can go seamlessly between orbit and forge matchmaking, but you have a loading screen between the world forge startup and the match making. This is just my assumption, and it could just be poor optimization on bungie's part :/
