Bad juju catalyst broken
I achieved 45 of those thing without cheating and my bad juju catalyst won't let me equip it. I got it from Calus, but it says I still need to finish the steps. I went to orbit and back, reset the game and bought a new base juju. Fix please.

I just got my 45th of 50 unique tributes placed and bought the catalyst. cannot activate it on the weapon though (though it seems to be earning the kills still). Will need to see what happens once i complete the catalyst or earn more tributes By activate it I mean to slot the unfinished catalyst into the weapon. This allows the weapon to start tracking kills and making orbs on kills without getting the upgraded perks/stats I think the issue relates to Bungie "locking" the catalysts for anyone who got them illegitimately. My guess is that it messed with the "good" counts for some of us who had a bunch of tributes placed already.

I guess equip was the wrong word. Usually when u get a catalyst u have to "activate" it on a weapon once before getting the kills starts counting. I guess this one skips that. Thank you all:)

2 RepliesSince I don’t know exactly the situation here, I’m going to run through a few things. Feel free to ignore whatever doesn’t apply. To earn the catalyst it’s not enough to simply obtain 45 Tributes, they must be [b]placed[/b] within the Hall before the option to purchase the catalyst from the Visage of Calus is unlocked. If you have indeed placed 45 Tributes and have purchased the catalyst, you must [b]apply[/b] the catalyst to Bad Juju and must then score enough kills with the weapon to reach MW. If however, you purchased the catalyst after placing 45 Tributes and are for whatever reason unable to even [b]apply[/b] the catalyst to Bad Juju, then there’s obviously something bugged and I’m not sure how to fix that. If this is the situation, be sure to leave a more detailed post in the Help section. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
