Basically what I’d like to see in the raids is essentially less mechanics. I’m not saying make it easier rather make it harder to stay alive. Have hoards and hoards of adds, increase boss AI intelligence, abilities and aggression or something along those lines. I’ve fallen out of wanting to raid because of the mechanics that I don’t think suit the looter shooter ideology.
I don’t think I’m alone in this and I’m not saying I’ve got the answers but I think moving forward the game should aim away from the get a buff, dunk or pass an orb etc at least at the final stages of the raid.
Thoughts?
Edit: I also think this will aid in bringing more of the player base into the raids as more people will be willing to participate knowing they aren’t going to cause team wipes after wipes if they die because they struggle to understand what’s required for the mechanics during an encounter.

Mechanics = what makes a raid a raid Its part of the entire raid experience and concept. This is true in other games too. With the direction Bungie is taking with Shadowkeep I expect to see more mechanic based stuff with harder mechanics due to players being stronger from armor 2.0
