A question on nightfall drops

I have year 1 dlc curse of Osiris and warmind I am trying farm DFA, but it won't drop is it possible for year 1 players to get DFA and Nightfall exclusive rewards?

They made the drop rate increase every time you don't get the gun the chances increase next time. I don't why you didn't get it but you must be due to get one.

Should be able to. It’s a rare-ish drop tho, that’s probably why you aren’t seeing it
