The Reckoning needs to change
The drop chances for weapons are abysmal.
The weekly powerful reward should not drop a piece of armour seeing as we can get a guaranteed piece of armour for the wagers.
We should get a guaranteed weapon after every tier 2/3 run.
You could even add weapons to the menagerie loot pool, that would soften the blow after the chest patch.
This needs to be changed to make the reckoning worth running.

After I hit 750 I have not run the reckoning Way too many scrubs out there

I will second third and fourth everything you just said .. even gambit primes weekly four games for a powerful drop drops old gambit gear way more than the reckoning weapons . It's such a stupid decision just a way for them lenegthen the grind by screwing us out of a drops .. but they will never put spare rations In the loot pool of regular gambit ... But theyll put parcel of stardust all the gambit armor and other weapon in the pool of gambit primes powerful drop .. It really sucks how stingy they are being with the season of the drifter weapons .. there are some really good weapons in there that never get used cause they are ridiculous to go after for a god roll or even a good roll been chasing spare rations since drifter started and I bet I haven't had ten drop after doing 208 tier 3 reckoning runs, all of the reckoner title , yes sir I'm a closer bounties 3 x a week .. and countless tier 2 runs and nothing really .. drifter was a sorry excuse for a paid expansion or annual pass add on not because of the activities because they added 9 weapons that are so inconsistent on getting them it's not worth the trouble .. and Outlast seems to be the only thing that drops in reckoning for me at least

I will never get a Spare Rations better than the one I have. I've decided to stop farming it from here on out. I can't take it anymore. If they won't change Reckoning then they could at least make the drops guaranteed after completion because the hell we have to go through plus the non existent drop rates for the weapons (in Gambit/Gambit prime too) equals not worth the effort. Shit experience + shit drop rates = shit game mode not worth putting in any effort whatsoever

I see why I gave this activity a pass up until today. With Warlocks running well and Hunter w/tether Tier 3 is easily done. Never played it until today. Have 4 pieces of matching notorious gear. The armour isn’t anything special. I’ll get my full set, complete the Triumph and never wear it again.

What’s funny about the reckoning is it got designed around certain exotic’s that have now been nerfed into the ground.

3 RepliesI've run plenty of Reckoning T3 (with flawless etc) & what annoys the f*** outta me is the weapon drops - I've only ever had garbage sniper rifles & 1 pulse ....but the worst part is the armour - it looks like garbage, with (so far) terrible perk rolls - so I dismantled it all - but Bungie insist that I need to start back at Tier 1 to try get a full set again! - What madness is it to make someone grind a full set of armour out at T1 (with garbage perks) then again at T2 (same garbage perks/style) taking 2 weeks timed progress to get the chance of maybe/possibly/probably hating yourself getting another garbage RNG roll on some ugly ass T3 armour .....and all the while, still not receiving a single decent weapon!

dont waste your time. You'll get a trash roll anyways. Gambit is trash. Reckoning is worse. I played it allot , i get a random weapon every 5-6 completions, the weapon was often bad.
