Comp Weapons and LFG
I'll just start out saying that I don't think it's fair weapons behind that 2100 glory threshold. But, before any of you call me a cry baby. I tried playing solo and it didn't work out. I tried with a friend and it didn't work out. Then I went into the lfg on destiny app and all I saw was posts offering RECOVS. To me that's just the lowest this game has ever been. People charging some real money to carry your way to a gun. That's why I think pinnacle pvp weapons should be behind glory points, not glory ranks. That alone would end this pathetic recovs ruining the lfg experience.

I agree. I don’t mind grinding my balls off, the most painful thing is losing progress when you’re so close to the next tier. I won’t do the Revoker bc I hate snipers. I want Recluse but gosh the grind is turrible. Especially bc I always seem to get thrown in with folks who are worse than me-which is saying something bc clearly, I’m not great lol.

You need to make your own LFG group.

I got the Recluse mostly solo and I have a terrible 0.85 kd. I’m sure you can do it.

7 RepliesJust got to 2K solo Yesterday, Will be fabled on reset. It's definitely possible if you set to it. I'm in no way, shape or form, a PvP God, but I can hold my own, and try to play smarter. I'm a 1.0 kd, so nothing too special.

Hopefully all future crucible pvp weapons will be like revoker. As for recluse and the others, I've found the most success playing in a two stack.

2 RepliesI think Bungie will be do this in the future. The Revoker quest is the most well received quest of all the PvP pinnacles and probably brings more people into Comp than the other quests did as players know the weapon is obtainable is they just play enough.

Yeah recovery ruins ranked. It degrades the ranked game modes and Pinnacle weapons.

If you want any sanity don’t play comp solo. Last night at around 750 glory I got put with two teammates with green and blue weapons and both had 80 glory. I mean I have all the 2100 guns save revolver but I should not be the guy trying to carry teams. I know my limitAtions. I’m not remotely that good. Point is matchmaking will screw you. Later I had people leaving matches. Solo is doable if you are good enough to carry a team virtually every match. If not you’ll need help and it will be amazingly frustrating.

Solo to 2100 is possible, I did it. It took longer but I got the recluse and revoker yesterday.

At least 2100 solo is possible, hitting 5500 solo requires u to get incredibly lucky with matchmaking and be an absolute god

I was playing against Slayerage which I believe is like a twitch streamer guy? He was in the Legend Himself Clan and was carrying these 3 people with 1.44 kda’s.

I say it's fair lfg sucks tho it's full of people who think they are gods I went through multiple people and because of it I was losing glory then I started soloing got to 2100 got my recluse. But revoker quest was a better way to go about these pvp penicales especially for us solo players
