It would make the game-world feel more lived in if there was wildlife as well as ally npcs wandering around the patrol zones that could fight enemies, give out quests or whatever.

3 RepliesAzoth17 You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

66 RepliesThanks for the feedback! While we may not be able to do things like this fin the short term, we can always have this feedback handy for future updates to the game. Cheers, -dmg

Yes please this is something I've wanted forever. Fighting along side other characters would be so much fun and I've never quite understood why bungie has been so against the idea for the past 5 years.

Been saying since we found the crashed guardian ship in D1 that they need a public event that is a guardian getting shot down and we need to help defend them while there ghost repairs the ship.

Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 7/22/2019 12:37:40 PMIdeally, I’d prefer to spend the majority of my time post story “in the wild” as opposed to in a bunch of closed fireteam activities doing the same exact missions, hearing the same exact dialogue, with the same exact enemy spawns, and the same exact bosses over and over and over and over again. I’d like to see more to do in the patrol areas instead of them existing for fetch quests or for being little more than a “hallway” so something else. Player triggerable activities. Maybe a patrol had a very rare(think exotic engram drop) chance to escalate into something that alerts all players in the instance and that offers unique and powerful rewards. I’d like to fight bosses and do events in different areas instead of the exact same area every time. I’d like random events that I don’t know are about to happen. Just things to liven it up and make it worth hanging out in.

Yes, let's have some Flash Mobs to go with the Flashpoints.

1 ReplyI think we should add a fallen computer and call it DDOS. If you see one randomly pop up it would allow you to see who's currently playing Crucible and just to mess with them you could randomly pick names to have them Force disconnected. Make it like a blades of crota spawn. The player you kick to orbit of course would have Randal the Vandal show up on their screen laughing at them

The idea for a 'Nightfall/Heroic/Hardcore Patrol' has been floating on the forums since early D1. I'm sure they've heard it, and want to find a way to make it properly without it being half assed and randomly added. Naturally it would be a big investment for them, as it needs a decent loot pool and chase for it to not be something just forgotten. They probably just need to come up with the right loop to satisfy every type of player I imagine.

Populate them with max level enemies randomly as well.

2 RepliesWe're getting closer with those people-shaped turrets in the Dreaming City.

There is a running rabbit in the edz.....

God yes, something like how Division 2 has within Washington DC, wandering ally NPCs, enemy patrols, etc.
-
YES! That would be awesome, it would certainly make the game feel more alive.
-
Yeah, the world has felt dead, fake for too long.

7 RepliesIt is weird that there is no wild life anywhere in the game. It made me realize just how much of the game is actually just open space with nothing in it

2 RepliesEdited by DownyKitten: 7/19/2019 7:50:51 PMWhat mankind didnt make extict already, the hive/fallen/cabal ate when they showed up. Domesticated chickens and humans are the last living native things on earth. That's why Cayde's noodle shop is the only food service in a tower full of wealthy guardians. Grain and veggies are all thats left, and the consumption of chicken has been outlawed because theyre an endangered species. The Drifter is allergic to gluten, so thats why he eats his enemies.

And to specify I mean wildlife we can interact with both passive and hostile.

There are bunnies occasionally that run across the trail when traveling between areas in the EDZ. It would be really nice if they expanded on it.

1 ReplyThe corsairs in the Dreaming City was a good stepup, but more would be great!
