Yeah, plenty of games are populated. This one isn't. That's because it's fundamentally flawed and does not work. It sucks. All games have issues. Destiny has nothing but and isn't taken seriously for it. This game has no competitive scene outside dead servers for comp.

It works. This game wasn’t designed for E-Sports, it’s a Shooter with MMO elements. Comparing this game to overwatch is comparing Apples and Oranges. Overwatch is just as underpopulated and definitely more hated than Destiny ever has been. Check the streams by the way, saying this game is underpopulated is the least factual thing that’s come out of this entire thread.

Yeah, I make games. Not only are you -blam!- and know nothing about them, let alone the mechanics behind the scene, you don't even know what genre Destiny is. Destiny is a shooter. Period. The ability to role play is limited so it's not an RPG. It has precisely 0 MMO elements. The game is forced online, it isn't actually needed. Overwatch is not more hated and is more populated. Plenty of people do hate things about it, myself included. Far more people like it than people who like Destiny. You're just -blam!-ing dumb for saying otherwise. Overwatch was almost a worse experience than Destiny for me and even I know Overwatch is still objectively more popular/well received. Wasn't designed for E-sports? Many aren't. But those that do function mechanically better than the competition. Generally. Destiny has such bad hit detection as well as 30fps on console, PC is the only thing that would ever be looked at. Destiny streams are doing well? Maybe for some of the streamers, otherwise it isn't that big. The player base drops exponentially faster as the weeks pull away from a content drop. And that's only because they make you wait multiple weeks to even play it all. That's how little there is to do. Hence why players return in smaller, faster depleting numbers. Just on Twitch right now Overwatch nearly quadruples the amount of viewers. Jesus, Ultimate Chicken Horse has near double the viewers lol. Never even heard of it. Destiny is not a good game and not a single mode of it is near what it could be. I don't know who you're trying to fool into thinking this game does anything well. You couldn't name a single mechanic in this game that I can't blow holes in. Enjoy your next expansion where you slay God like beings without being godlike strong. I imagine you'll step on plates and throw balls like a good boy and somehow kill the God in his lair. His lair made to kill himself (lol worthy world design). Pure genius mechanics. It's so bad you could do a comedy series on YouTube titled "if I throw an arbitrary ball or step on a plate the video ends". You're a casual gamer with a casual understanding of games.

Nice job completely ignoring my statement in regards to comparing Destiny and Overwatch. You don’t make games. If you did, you wouldn’t have actually had the audacity to say that Destiny has 0 MMO elements. Clans? Raids? PvP? PvE with World Bosses and Events? Christ, what more do you want from it? Just because the raids aren’t 40-60-man like WoW with god awful graphics doesn’t mean Destiny isn’t an MMO. You hate this game and nothing would make you like it. You couldn’t make better.
