That's the problem. Simplicity... That's boring. Bungie made D2 how it was because it was simpler and easier on themselves... Which backfired majorly. Why are you happy with someone else making your choices for you? Wow you get to pick some of the things in your class, the things that have the least effect, whilst the developer gets to pick all of the major perks that you get to run. D2 is literally set and forget .... In D1 I was constantly. Changing my structure based on the activity I was playing, solo or in a group, strikes or raid etc. In D2, you don't do that.

How was D1 any different? It was no way any different. If anything, that was more simple than this. Yes i agree that some things in D2 have perhaps the least effect if it dont work for u or suit u. Set and forget is no different. U can do same in d1 as well. Maybe its the case of some people find both as simple as each other. But if u find ur setup for strikes for example with their singe. Anything is simple. "Someone else making the choices for you" Technically aint that the modifiers on things like strikes that make the choice for u Bungie doesnt make me choose anything. I choose what works. And thats the same in D1. Difference is, u kept changing urs in d1. I never changed the structure in d1 once it suited me. Maybe obvs switch supers. But its the same in d2

LOL. I'll never understand the Destiny player mentality where they prefer Bungie to make their choices for them.

Just cause ur not happy with how its set up for the guardians, makes it no different to d1 when it was still set up for u to choose what works gd for u. If u cant work with it then ur playing the wrong game

The philosophy of, "We decide how you play and what you play."

U choose what super benefits u more, what jump suits u, grenades- unless ur doing grenade triumphs, the type of grenades ur better with

I want to be able to choose *everything* on my character that benefits me. Doesn't hurt to have more variety than just supers and grenades.

U choose supers, grenades, jumping or gliding, dodging or barrier or rifts. Cant get simpler than that.
