I'd love to see SRL come back during Shadowkeep!
Who else would love to see SRL back into the game? I miss it so much...

Sparrows need an overhaul. In fact, vehicles in general need an overhaul. Customizable engines, shields, weapons, etc. for one.

I agree to the fact that it’s a FPS game and not a racing game But if anything couldn’t they have made “racing”sparrows have mini turrets on them? Ride and shoot your way to victory?

I for one would love for this activity to return, id like to race around varieties of planetary race tracks, I loved to look of the race gear too, i just hope they add it to private matches so we can race with our friends if we so chose.

There was a response to the srl request by someone at bungie months back during the first few months after d2 launched . He said that the player count for srl in d1 was too low to warrant the resources to develop it for d2. To me srl was one of the absolute best bits of destiny 1 during that time. It was an absolute blast. The armor was excellent and one of my favorite points in all of d1 . Sad really if that’s their take on it . Now as guardians all they do for fun is afk farming in the forges and standing around dancing in the tower. Sucks really sucks

SRL was great. When you didn't have anything left to do for the week it was a good way to pass the time imo. It definitely needs to return.

3 RepliesAh yes my favorite thing about a shooter is freaking sparrow racing. They need to fix crucible, introduce game type playlists, go from 4 v 4 to 3 v 3 and bring back trials of osiris. Then they can bring back racing to this shooter.

The type of players that tell others to "git gud" suck at SRL, and get their asses handed to them so bad at it that they screech and cry every single time someone mentions bringing it back. It's great.

Is it December already, or all the SRL broken records coming out of hibernation early?

It was fun to fill in the gaps between actual content updates but I wouldn’t want them working on this if they could be creating and implementing actual story missions, strikes, dungeons, weapons, armor and basically anything else that isn’t an amusing but ultimately unnecessary addition to Destiny.
