And people say "we don't need a destiny 3, just keep adding onto destiny 2"
The game would literally self destruct

Yeah, I’m afraid of what the armor changes in Shadowkeep are going to do to the overall stability of the game. I wouldn’t be surprised if D2 isn’t just simultaneous builds all running at the same time? I can remember many months back where there was two different flash points depending on a patch download. Feels like to play one “game” of D2 we are playing 2 or 3 that are unseen. D3 in a lot of respects cannot come fast enough (unless they just port code over in the build and it’s just another sleeping monster waiting.)

Edited by Kang_81: 7/14/2019 4:13:35 PMExactly! The engine can’t handle everything being added to it. I used to get stuck in a transition loading screen in one strike only, nowhere else. Now I get stuck every single time in the same locations of multiple strikes, the tower (heading back up to the main area from Ikora’s), etc. It also takes forever to even load up a menu so I can inspect or change gear, shaders, useable items, etc. Just little things that over time greatly impact the experience. Every time Bungie adds more content, it all gets worse. If a Destiny 3 is not announced for next gen consoles I don’t know how long I’ll stick around for D2. I mean, it’s a blessing in disguise, then I could finally take a break from this second job and get back to my immense backlog of other games. lol

Going back to the backlog of other games I've just found 'The Last of Us', Unchartered collection still sealed in cellophane...damn it's like being back in 2014/15 😆

I know. lol I just found out I bought Mirrors Edge, 3 times (on sale for dirt cheap like $5 at least) and never played it yet. My backlog is getting so big I’m buying multiple copies of games because I forgot I already owned them. D’oh! 🤦♂️😂
