Here we go again with the people who think they know what theyre doing, and blame the [quote]1%rs[/quote] because they cant figure out that the Spider sells materials... or that glimmer can be acquired through Spiders bounties. Or a couple forges..
I have a fam, a full time job, my mother is in town this weekend, and I have juju.. I have also solod the mission without dying, and done a few of the triumphs wearing the Leviathan armor.
I truly dont know what you're complaining about, other than to think that you just dont know the most effective way of doing things in the game. And that is fine. Just dont hate on others because we do..
Oh and I didnt even use ANY materials to get the tributes. I dismantled everything I ever got from everpurse amd used shards and bright dust.

You do realize that there exists no universe where anyone other than the 1% have enough mats to just switch spider around until they have it without a single discount, right? Quit pretending like the 1%ers and the rest of us play the same. You cna shove the idea all you want but it's not reality.

Edited by Nell421: 7/15/2019 7:25:51 AMSo, if you do the math, assuming you buy all of your mats from spider using shards (1 shard/5 mats), and that each tribute costs around let's say 130 mats (that's how much it was for me, after I did several of the discount bounties which are not hard to do), it's gonna cost you about 468 shards to get bad juju, which is unlocked @ 18 tributes. And each legendary piece of gear you dismantle gives you 3 shards, so assuming you don't dismantle anything but legendaries, you'd still only need to dismantle 156 of them to have the shards necessary to unlock the gun. I understand that there's also glimmer you'll need to purchase, but the cost to get bad juju is brought down by dismantling spare exotics, and certain ships and shaders, which all give shards, so I think it evens out. Do you really not have 156 legendaries lying around in your vault? Considering how many the game throws at players just for playing virtually anything I don't think that obtaining the weapon is really as inaccessible to casuals as you make it seem, as long as they aren't new players. Before the menagerie patch I was pulling in about 10 legendaries a run with the double drop rune unlocked, sometimes more sometimes less, so having run the menagerie at least 15 times since season of opulence started (not really an insane time requirement, imo) would given a player what they needed. There are also other quick and reliable legendary drop sources, like that mars lost sector and the spider bounties (a bunch each week).
