When I learned of the cheez I got so pissed off that I had spent so many resources and I am not even half way I quit. I am on strike I wont use the POS pulse rifle nor will I ever go after the rest of the catalyst! They can keep their crap that is so programmed for streamers!

It's not for streamers, it's a thinly veiled way of making sure people don't have resources stacked for September. Having bright dust as a currency is blatant at trying to clear people's stash's.
