I am seriously not sure what you are talking about, you need 18 tributes to get Bad Juju and you are making it look as if you need to be some sort of hardcore player who spends 12 hours a day playing the game. Far from it
Some of them you probably got accidentally before the drop if you played the game.
Like the raid ones, strike one, crucible, gambit, etc etc I remember those popping up randomly before this new Tribute was launced.
I have only logged into d2 for a few hours since menagerie launched, specially once I completed the first raid and reached 750, up until then I grinded quite a bit, anyway since then I only logged in enough every week to do the new raid on all my characters and pretty much thats it, oh and the first 2 weeks to farm menagerie weapons... and when Tribute Hall launched already had like 9 available. Missing Gambit, crucible and some raid ones. I spend the next few hours farming those and doing SoP and LW. I think I only needed to buy a couple of those tributes that required materials, maybe 3.
And regarding planetary materials well, I always keep a few hundred of them with me (every now and then I will buy 10 or 20 from the spider) so I could easily pick up a few of them, got my bad Juju pretty much within a few hours.
For crucible I just went into Mayhem and did it in like 1-2 hours. Even Gambit which I hate took me 1-2 hours as well.
Bad Juju as such should be accessible to most players assuming they have played the game enough, and I mean a bit not 6 hours a day.
Getting the 50 tributes is a different thing, but there is a reason why is so hard, you are meant to wait. And if you are just a casual player who log in like 4 hours a week then you just need to to the tribute bounties and in a few weeks you will be able to get a discount, and if thats not enough well then maybe it was just not meant for you?

I had zero tributes available to me when I got there. The tribute triumphs are only retroactive from the start of the season of opulence, not beforehand. Otherwise I'd have a bad juju right now.

Edited by Mr Fats: 7/13/2019 6:00:16 PMI turned it 3 before it was out and after menagerie was launched and had another 3 or 4 ready for me. Had to complete, crucible, gambit, nightfall, SoP, LW and 2 or 3 more that I can't remember. also, looking at your game history you have played the game very little in the last couple of months, I dont think I have seen a single menagerie run (maybe I am wrong but barely a raid, few heroic missions, strikes and patrols, very little activity), the new opulence gear is obtained from either Leviathan raids or menagerie, but it would be unlikely you had been using old leviathan gear (specially armor) therefore your progression would be very very slow if you were only using 1 or 2 weapons (if). That explains why you are having issues and had no tributes completed. No wonder you would have done the cheese

Not all of us can do a raid every week, you know. Sometimes it’s not our fault, either. We don’t all have that kind of time. For the record, while Juju is going to take me another day or two, it’s still not... that bad. Considering I started with no mats AT ALL, and have already placed 13 tributes without a single triumph completion. I have to say, the amount of runs the triumphs require is absurd, whatever way you look at it.

exactly, but thats the point I was trying to make, not everyone can, and that should be fine. More casual players will need more time to complete this, that shouldnt be a problem. So if you dont have that kind of time and this will mean it will take you longer then be it. Players who have more time to spare and spend playing this game will get it sooner, and thats perfectly fine. And I agree, Bad Juju is not that hard at all, even if you only have a few hours a week to do the quest steps it is still very accessible. Now, if a player has not been playing the game enough for the last few weeks, havent done things like menagerie, raids etc and then, they cant just log in and complain that Bad Juju is hard to get because is not possible for them to get it straight away then it thats not right, the more you play the game the easier for you it will be to get it. We have had a lot of exotics quests that did not require players to have to do anything before it came out, like Outbreak Perfected, all you needed to do is run Zero Hour and that was it. But as soon as something comes up that requires a little bit of grinding people will just go crazy.

That’s cool man. Just wasn’t incredibly clear from the post I replied to.
