Change Mountain Top Quest. Over 3,000 kills and only at 70%
This quest is just ridiculous. Needs to change by next season.
Hopefully get rid of the whole comp/quick playlist and go back to D1 crucible.

I got it legit over the course of about 2 weeks. It’s not hard, just focus on the medals and staying alive. SPAM COLONY IN MAYHEM.

5 RepliesEdited by Icon: 7/13/2019 5:31:31 AMSo at the advice of a fellow guardian and the realisation that it is a difficult quest along with the fact I’m an average pvp player (1.6kd I think). I got recluse, Luna and MT last season solo using the following load out. Hunter (top tree stalker) Exotic (jesters) 5 class mods Any primary your comfortable with (hand cannons what I mainly use) service revolver would be best with a decent roll. Any secondary (snipe, shotty or fusion) And edge transit (Icarus mod) I run a 7,5,4 build(boots have traction for added mobility stat) Once you have the glory points jump into QP and then just make sure you pick up heavy as much as possible and when you have your super tether two or three and blamo medals and doubles (at least) every time. I did use the IB GL but it’s not as consistent for doubles. Jesters give you an advantage of surprise and are extremely underrated. Try the load out and get used to jesters then go for it. If you main titan I highly recommend Ashen Wake with 4/5 nade mods Warlock (dawnblade fire by nades) Hope you get it👍 I was below 1700 kills after completion and that’s taking into account the previous seasons where I used Play if the game just for fun.

I have the mountain top and the quest was the most obnoxious annoying quest I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing. Maybe if grenade launchers in pvp were more consistent with the current meta, this wouldn’t be an issue. But bungie is ran by incompetent morons and douche bags so all we can hope for is that they get wise and realize that they need to stop ruining the fun and make destiny pvp like year 1 age of triumph. Be more like halo bungie and less like destiny bungie

It's easier to do it this week since it's mayhem right now. Tether and three grenade launchers do wonders. I've gone up 25% in 3 days

1 ReplyYou don't even have that many nade launcher kills in cruci lol, don't know where you pulled the statistics from, and hate to break it to you, but you're not doing that well. Maybe they shouldn't fix the quest, but you should fix your gameplay.

I've been planning to start the grind but every time it only takes 1 match to get bored. I also have a feeling that it might become obsolete when shadowkeep arrives.

8 RepliesEdited by CurryAndCream: 7/13/2019 6:58:34 PMThese quests are designed to make you good with the weapon. It’s difficult because getting carried to fabled is too easy nowadays. Warlock with Luna faction boots and Grenade launchers in all three weapon slots is the best way to go. Yes it can take time but the skill you acquire for earning the weapon will payoff when you finally use it.

Not as difficult as people make it out to be. Got it by using play of the game in comp with no other changes to my loudout and this was when people were camping heavy for it. Only advice I can give, 2 scavenger perks and focus getting it when you are low in glory as when you climb high it can be difficult to get the double kills. Quickplay is super slow. Good luck.

Bro i understand that you may not know of this but ppl are actually going to server and try match each other groups to surrender kill and wins to farm mountain top... Or do you think all these scrubs actually have the skill to get that thing.... just do the same and be done with it

3 RepliesAt this point, they just need to give us a pve quest for it. How many times do you get wrecked in crucible with it? Hardly anyone uses it in crucible because there are better options. Everyone is using it in pve. That should've been the Vanguard pinnacle pve quest weapon instead of Wendigo. An Outrageous Fortune with spike grenades and field prep is better.
