At several points, Bungie went through and perma-banned every account that hadn’t gotten to some landmark in Destiny. The first few Purges cleaned out the accounts that hadn’t played D1 at all, the next few cleaned out accounts that hadn’t played D2, and I think the last one that happened cleaned out accounts that hadn’t played past the release of the first expansion of D2, though I wouldn’t swear to that one. I don’t remember what the requirements exactly were, because they were all several years ago.

Most users don’t. Those who really only stay in #Destiny, #Destiny2, or #Lore don’t encounter people who don’t play the game, for obvious reasons. In #OffTopic, though, there are plenty of great people who’ve barely touched the game.
