Have bounties be directly accessed from the director menu
Its a waste of time to go to the tower and back out. Especially in the era where next gen consoles are not so compatible with current loading times. This would be a huge quality of life update.

It’s not s waste of time to Bungie. It’s a calculated decision to force you to travel to pick up bounties. Every second we spend walking to a vendor to pick up bounties pads the “play time”. I did the math for shits and giggles the other day on the thread about having forges be selectable from orbit...... think about it. If we have 250k players, traveling the 5 minutes to load into the EDZ and travel to Bergusia and load in, that’s roughly 5 minutes...... so 5 minutes by 250K people is 1.25 million minutes..... just to load into the forge. That’s 868 days of play time. Insanity. All this time wasting is placed there for bungie to of numbers for investors. Don’t be a fool and assume anything in this game is done by accident. They’re a business after all.

1 ReplyOf all the quality of life changes I could propose for Destiny 2, this is head and Titan-shoulders above all others. Tower bounties simply need to be accessible outside of the tower. They can still be made available there for people who like to do the whole social space thing, but make ‘Em available from the director, too. I spend far too much time at the tower (postmaster, bounties) before I can even [i]play[/i] the game. Destination bounties are fine where they are since you need to go there to earn them anyway. 😊

1 ReplyBut how would Bungie fill the 25 minutes you currently spend flying around, traveling, going back to the ship to go to another planet to get a bounty from someone else just so you can fly and travel some more just to sparrow ride a ways just to open a chest and collect said Bounty?

have been wanting this since d1. socical spaces are useless. no one is using it for what it is meant to be used for. they should add a group finder in the tower with a request table or something like that otherwise the tower is prety useless
