It's all eight slots filled with either menagerie or leviathan based raid gear (I did it in warden of nothing with austringer, epicurean fusion and bane of sorrow CoS MG with all opulent armour)

It’s not all 8, it’s however many you want. Just 1 slot alone counts - I got the crucible guardian kills with just beloved equipped.

I was clearly referring to the crucible tribute for killing guardians. All the triumphs are worded the same btw.
