Exotic marks cloaks and bonds for all factions (strikes & crucible ect) & area (EDZ,titan,io ect) that increases the materials/tokens you can get also like destiny 1 It can be a second exotic
The quest would obviously be difficult but doable by yourself (hopefully)
Idk if this is a possibility just a thought I had forgive me if it’s a shit one

Dear god no. The system is fine the way it is. Don’t make it more grindy. You’ll lose everyone you worked so hard on winning back and I’ve got my LoL friends actually jumping on to destiny now. So please don’t.

Bring back D1 style factions with the exotic class items for hitting a high enough rank. -
Possible? Yes. Useful? Not that we have seen, thus far. In Destiny 1 we had such a thing, but it was not anything special. I suppose they could fo it for Destiny 2, but what would be the extent of their functionality?

Life exotics would be cool to bring back with factions
-
4 RepliesThey came late to the show in D1, so my guess is we’ll see them return in Shadowkeep, when I expect the faction rallies to return in some shape or form.
-
I always liked exotic class items. if they do bring them back I think they should buff class abilities. Cloak could grant invisibility to all dodges and subclasses Bond could add damage over time effect to enemies near rifts Mark could grant true sight or damage reduction while standing behind it.

Similar to d1. I like it.

Course it's possible they had them in d1
-
The Future War Cult in D1 was great, especially on the Hunter.
-
In D1 my titan had the faction exotics (fugly) and the ghost edition mark (the most awesome mark to date)
-
1 ReplyIf they make exotic cloaks and bonds with perks then you should be able to wear them with another piece of exotic armor so they stack

Edited by ClovenTrack620: 7/11/2019 9:05:02 PMit is possible, they've done it b4. I think Bungie mentioned something about Artifacts making a return and having awesome perks that impact gameplay similar to Exotics, i hope they really come through with this and class items really need some love, they need to be alot more than just fashion accessories, Hunter capes could grant Cloaking or Heat resistance, Warlock bonds have a bunch of Technological uses in Lore and in D1 Titans have the Mark if the SunForged that lets you hold a solar Hammer in your waist, it's just for looks but they can definitely make it useful, by making it so it enhances your subclass abilities or something like that

Bump!

2 RepliesSo long as they look cool. I really don't like the Titan marks that are nothing more than little dishrag hanging from the side of the belt so much that I'll refuse to wear them even if the perks are good.
-
It is, tho they tend to count those as special items.

Edited by TheShadow-cali: 7/11/2019 2:06:07 PMEdit: I forgot about the factions in D1 that you could get exotics from. It's would be nice if they brought them back.
-
Just another cool thing that never should’ve been taken out of the game
-
I miss my exotic Titan marks from d1, they looked awesome

4 RepliesWhy make them exotic? Completely pointless. Ghost shells could do the same thing. I dont have ANY problem with exotic class items, they could be awsome, but why not just... like actually give them an exotic perk, just like any other. Why waste exotics on stuff that could just go on ghost shells.

1 ReplyThey had them in d1

1 ReplyNEWY_NOOB You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold
