Ubisoft needs to learn how to event in R6 siege

It’s their game and their decision, I know. But still.. what the fuсk? It’s not just this event, but every other event too and probably upcoming events, it’s just the same crap every time, it’s gotten a bit better but it’s still bad. A game mode they put half a heart in, game mode is relatively unique, music and narrator is different. This is the only good part I see except the crispy one taps in this event, but it feels like they just want your money. I know, I know, cosmetics aren’t everything but I can’t turn a blind eye on that, you get one free event alpha pack, you can get another one by completing a challenge (this event it’s just playing 10 matches I think) and that’s it, if you want more event loot you need to throw money at the screen. Usually I think gameplay is more important than cosmetics and stuff but it kinda annoys me.. Why I think the game mode is just half hearted? It’s a short 3v3 western themed showdown, music and narrator is fitting but the narrator just says the same thing all the time and this game mode in general is getting stale very quick, on top of that you get minimal rewards, like a 100 renown and gain .5% chance for an alpha pack for a loss and .7% for a win Heck no I rather play casual then TL;DR Fun gameplay at the beginning, nice theme, very unrewarding
Usually I’m not that salty, but it pisses me off, every event in R6 siege feels like a cash grab
• Frankly I’ve enjoyed the update. Now about the alpha pack I completely understand. Micro transactions ruin everything. Still the western game mode is fun to me and my friends. I like the quick matches, though a full match on a bigger map with a full team would be better. I get what your saying though.

        • Idk man it's understandable. It's just the events that you can only pay real money for the alpha packs (besides earning them), and it is PURELY cosmetic. Between being able to unlock all cosmetics AND dlc operators by just playing the game, it seems like a fair trade. It is capitalism afterall, no service or good comes free of some price. And it isn't like they don't support their game for the events, they're a side piece to keep people playing. Ubi has done a pretty good job at supporting their stuff apart from all the other companies you hear about these days. TL;DR - It just a way that ubi is able to keep supporting their game. Don't whine about devs needing money to keep the game going and to keep people on board if the opposite is a flaming trash heap with no support from it's devs (see ANTHEM).
