I have tried to sign into my Xbox acct for since I changed my gamer tag every time I do I just get this
“Authentication Error
We were unable to sign you in with your Xbox Live account. Please visit xbox.com and sign in to verify/update your Xbox Live account. This error usually indicates that your Microsoft account has no Xbox Live Gamertag, or that your account must be updated in some way, such as agreeing to an updated terms of use.” This doesn’t help me at all I try to go to Xbox to figure it out but nothin ever works I’ve contacted Xbox multiple times they all say to talk to u but I can’t create a post without signing in and I can’t sign in so I had to make a blizzard acct to sign in tell me what to do bungee I want my companion app back I’m tired of switching weapons through the tower someone help

When signing into Bungie's website or the app, you authenticate your profile through the XBL ID, and if that's giving an error outright, then it's an issue with Microsoft. That being said, please try the following, one of them may work to fix your issue: Please go to Microsoft's website, sign out, then sign in and make sure you can sign in there. If you can, please see if you can sign in on the Bungie.net website. If you can sign in there fine, then please stop the app completely, clear your app's cache using your device's app options, then reinstall the app. Also, on Bungie.net, go to your Accounts & Linking settings, and click the large red button that says "Disable ALL Mobile Companion Sessions" . Then, reinstall the app and attempt to log in. If that fails, could you please give more information on the OS version of your device and/or the make/model.
