Shadow's Final Subject Hello there, fine sir/madam. I would like to formally welcome you to what is the final ShadowLegacy crafted myth within the thread. If you have been here from the very start I applaud you and would like to personally thank you for all you've helped me achieve. But I feel I must move on to greater things now and so, after posting this subject, I will be leaving Bungie.net. This is not for attention and I wouldn't be telling you this if not for the fact that there will be no more subjects/posts and people may begin to wonder. Thank you, everyone, for making my stay so amazing and wonderful. I got to know a lot of you (and will continue to on Facebooks, XbawksLive and other social media devices) and I believe it has made me a better person all-together. Sure, I've had patches of insanity fuelled by trolls and big meanie heads on the Flood but they are outweighed by the many bros of the flood I admire. I'm not leaving the internet (you may even see a couple videos on my youtube channel soon) but I am leaving Bungie.net. I am doing so with great memories and amazing times under my belt. So, as a kind of going away gift I present to you the long awaited myth subject of: Jeff the Killer. I hope you enjoy this subject and, for that matter, the entire thread as much as I enjoyed writing it for all of you. I hope you can continue discussing the myths whilst I am elsewhere. Thank you, once again, for making this what it is. I merely wrote it, you guys literally made it. Thank you. ~ Shadow

FINAL MYTH TRANSMISSION: Jeff the Killer Here we are at the long anticipated Jeff the Killer subject. This subject borrows a lot of different styles of creepy-writing strategies used in other myths (namely, Smile Dog). Essentially, it follows the story of a young child and his rise to a serial killer lifestyle. The story, for the most part, is well constructed but ultimately it falls prey to the same weaknesses displayed in many other creepy-pastas. The story starts out with a small family (of four) moving into a new house. The neighbours introduce themselves and the children (aged about 12) are invited to a party hosted by the neighbours. Everything is fine until the children (Jeff and Liu) are attempting to catch a bus. The story reaches a climatic point where the young boys encounter a small group of juvenile badasses who attempt to collect money as a kind of tax for catching the bus. The three "badass" twelve year olds take Liu's wallet and this causes Jeff to experience new feelings (puberty?) which, in an amazing situation, cause him to absolutely beat the hell out of the three youngsters. Jeff and his brother escape unharmed. Until the next day. The police show up at the residence and Jeff admits to beating up the kids and stabbing one of them (oh, yeah, the three badasses carried knives and Jeff used one of the knifes to stab one of the badasses). In a teary conclusion, Liu denies his brother's allegations and tells the police HE was the one that beat them up. He held a knife and scratch marks over his arm as proof. The police accepted this and let Jeff go but took Liu to juvenile detention. This is a part which struck me as obviously unbelievable. This kid, who had no previous criminal record, was sent to juvenile detention for 12 months for protecting himself. With no court date or anything. Yeah... right. Also worth noting that his father had absolutely no clue that the son was taken to juvenile detention until that night when the mother told him. Merely three days (or something ridiculous like that) after the son was taken to juvenile detention the family honours the party invite and attends the birthday bash. Whilst at the party the skater badass kids show up packing heat (yes, twelve year olds with guns and knives) and ultimately lay waste to Jeff (with none of the adults interfering because of the guns). Jeff is burned but survives. He also manages to kill one of the kids (but at the cost of his mental integrity) in a anger fuelled attack. He is never the same afterwards. Mainly because he is put in a cast at hospital for god knows how long waiting for the burns to heal. The only benefit to this entire situation is the fact that Liu is set free as the badasses obviously committed the first crime (seriously, the law enforcement in this story absolutely blows). The story picks up once again when Jeff's bandages are removed revealing a horrific face. His face is basically ghostly white and featureless. He loves it. His parents hate it. His brother thinks it looks hawt. You know, normal stuffs. Also worth noting that he loves it because his mental integrity and sanity was destroyed when he killed that kid so he is now basically a serial killer. They take him home straight away (because taking bandages off = good to go home and healthy) and there he slaughters his mother, father and brother whom he loved. Perfect way to end the story. Clearly, the story is completely fake and whilst well written it is still completely false with no evidence given. It's generally just a glorified creepy pasta which is why I was surprised so many people wanted me to do a subject post based around it. I have pointed out throughout that post many different ways the story was weak and not as well thought out. Although it was a good read it wasn't the best or scariest. The main attraction to the myth is the pictures where look eerily similar to smiledog. Again, as I said with smiledawg, these pictures can EASILY be photoshopped and therefore should definitely not be treated as legit photos of a creepy white man. Also, I'm interested in knowing who actually took the photos. Maybe Jeff and Smiledog are actually partners. Man, that'd be interesting. Resources: Creepy Pasta page including images! The Verdict: As I've implied previously throughout the story I believe it is entirely fake. The story, reality wise, is completely garbage and makes no sense in most parts. It is written fairly well, however, so extra points there for presentation. On the scare factor side, there isn't really anything new or innovative here. It seems to be a genuine rip off of Smile Dog. I award it 4/10 on the scare factor scale. On the writing skills, it is generally a well constructed read. Therefore I award it 7/10 on the writing scale. On the realism side, there really isn't any realism to the story. Most of it is garbage and obviously fake. I award it 2/10. Overall, the only great thing about the story is the actual story. Everything else is pretty mediocre and blatantly overly generic. I award it 5/10 overall. Thanks for reading and I hope everyone who has stuck around the thread has a great life and many more myth filled reading marathons. Here's to the myth thread. Three cheers! Hip Hip...! Love you all so damned much, ~Shadow
