And it is also one of the most interesting! So, let's get into it! [i]What is Majora's Mask (Ben Drowned)?[/i] A very good question. On the 7th of September (2010) a user by the name of Jadusable posted a creepy-pasta on 4chan (/x/) that explained his experiences with what he said was a haunted Majora's Mask cartridge. Basically, when he went to play the game he found it already had a file contained with in named "Ben". Oh, it's probably worth mentioning he bought the cartridge from an "old man". Anyway, he ignored the fact that there was a random account on it and decided to create a new account. But, something strange occured. The NPC's didn't call his character Link. They called him "BEN". Jadusable, being a smart fellow, decided to delete the BEN account (thinking it would help in some way) but, alas, the NPCs didn't refer to Link as anything now. So, he tried to do the "4th day glitch" but got teleported directly to the Majora boss battle at the end of the game. But something was even more wrong. The game didn't display the text correctly and the music was the "Song of Healing" but backwards. Eventually he was teleported back to Clocktown. He found that the textures were missing, there weren't any NPCs and the music was even more screwed up. Jadusable has released five videos and a lot of creepy-pasta. To see all of the creepy-pasta and videos, please check the gallery! Each video has a good description of what happens and everything! Jad's room-mate appears to upload the fourth video for Jad. The room-mate had said Jad had given him a flash drive containing the final video and "The.Truth.txt". he was told not to release these until a specific date. When they were released it was revealed that BEN had started haunting Jads computer (using stuff such as Cleverbot). And then Jad's youtube started to change drastically. The message "You didn't have to do that - really, you shouldn't have. Your support the entire time has kept me going and now I am finally free of this". His profile picture into an elegy-statue painting. And many other stuff changed such as his location (Which turned into "Now I am everywhere"). Basically, it is thought that Ben is haunting Jad's computer and can now access everyones computer. It is also speculated that Jad's real name is Matt and that he has become the new BEN. It just seems very made up, as convincing as it is. But, yeah. The story seems very generic yet interesting. Also, I'm pretty sure it has been confirmed to be fake. Turns out it was a part of Jadusable's giant scheme, and currently says that it is paused. Check the menu bar for new links being put up of the Archive/Stories/Q&A, these are all coming tomorrow."[/i] Basically, it is saying that this whole story was just a massive creepy-pasta to get him noticed so that he could write more stories. Well, I think that anyway. So, yeah. This was incredibly interesting and I wish I could've written more but it would have taken about 4 posts to do so. This is going to be very short. Not because I'm a slacker but because there really isn't a whole lot to investigate OR tell since all of the information comes from one creepy-pasta *check gallery*. So, sorry if you were looking towards a nice long read. This won't be one of those subjects. But, if you don't like reading then you should be very happy by this subject. Anyway, enough blabbering. Let's get into the short and sweet Candle Cove subject. [i]What is Candle Cove?[/i] An interesting, good question you raised right there, sir. Not much is known about Candle Cove as most of the information comes from one main piece of pasta. Apparently, there was a show in the 70's called "Candle Cove". Yes, this was a kid show about pirate puppets or some nonsense like that. This story/creepypasta appeared on an unknown forum by a user of the name Skyshale033. Other members (like Mike_Painter) also jumped into the conversation. Basically, Shyshale asks the other forum users if they remembered a children's show that aired in the 70's. Then other members chimed in with responses regarding the show. It apparently didn't air for too long. It was about a little girl who imagined herself to be with pirates. There was a pirateship called the Laughing Stock and a pirate called Pirate Percy. Who was apparently a bad pirate because he was scared of a lot of things. The show was also described to be VERY low budget. It was also mentioned the show was aired on "Channel 52". There were also two villains by the name of "Horrace Horrible" and "The Skin Taker". The Skin Taker was described to have a cape made out of Childrens skin. Then this happy discussion took a turn for the worse when Skyshale mentioned this horrible dream he had when he was a kid where he dreamed about the show and all the characters were just staring at the camera screaming and crying. The young girl who was the main character was just sitting crying hysterically. Then a user by the name of Kevan piped in and said "I don't think that was a dream. I remember that. That was an episode". Skyshale then it wasn't possible as there was no plot or anything. Just 30 minutes of screaming and crying. Then Jaren_2005 (another username) piped in saying he too remembered the "episode" and then continued to describe the episode in painful detail. He then stated this was the last time he watched the show because he didn't have the nerve to ever watch it again. The Mike Painter spoke once more saying something that just took the pasta to a whole new level of creepy-sauce. He said to the other forum users that he had gone to see his mother that day in a nursing home. He had asked her if she remembered Candle Cove. She said she was surprised he still remembered that. She then said that she was surprised when he was younger that he'd say he's going to watch Candle Cove. Then he would just proceed to sit in front of the TV and watch static for half an hour. Of course, that is just plain creepy. And that's it. No other news has surfaced on the now infamous Candle Cove pasta.
