Two years ago, a Guardian that once stepped away from his path in Destiny 1.
He heard is calling again with Destiny 2 and purchased the season path, this time for PC.
After playing for a bit (and enjoying the story more this time around), the Guardian was still craving a more social experience and chose to step away from this path again.
Fast forward to two years later. The Guardian met another Guardian that told him of his exploits in Destiny 2. The Guardian was intrigued.
Did he step away too early? He bought the Forsaken package for Xbox One with hopes of reigniting his spark.
The two Guardians couldn't find time to meet.
Fast forward another 6 months. The Guardian continues to hear of his Guardian friend's exploits. This time on PC.
The Guardian decides, let me try again. This time the Guardian faces his destiny head on.
He completes the Red War campaign. 3/4 of the way through, he orders the Forsaken Season Pass package. He completes Curse of Osiris and for some missions his Guardian friend joins him. He completes his first Crucible matches. He picks up his Grimoire Vol 1 that he ordered so many moons ago and begins reading voraciously. He's found his path. He pre-orders Grimoire Vol 2, and the Destiny Comic Collection Vol 1. He purchases his first Ghost Vinyl (Killtracker). His working his way up to beat Warmind.
Dear Bungie, if it wasn't for my friend kindly telling me of his exploits, I would've missed out on such an epic adventure.
I've been a lifelong fan of your company and the games you create since Halo.
If there's any way you can give him the refer-a-friend bonus', that would be appreciated.
If not, it's cool too.
Please remind everyone at Bungie how great this community is, and thank you for the amazing experience.
