There's no reason not to have the ability to post, browse or join groups while in game. As it is, we have to use a separate, out-of-game app for it, which is ridiculously archaic. Pure stone age garbage.
The other option is to make everything matchmade, but since most don't want it (me included) nor will it ever happen anyway, this is the bare minimum that should be included in the game.
Come on Bungie, graduate into the 2000s with the rest of the industry.

2 RepliesWhy do people not want to use the app? That's like people saying "I'm hungry" and not accepting raw ingredients because they'd have to cook them first.

Edited by Smough: 7/4/2019 4:44:44 PMJust suck it up or use the d2 lfg discord or companion app, and when it comes to steam there will probably be a team lfg community.

1 ReplyMost games on PC don't have built in LFG programs. It's one of the reasons people like myself prefer to play on console. Technically, we already have this. Guided games was designed as Destiny's LFG system. The only problem is that it's still in beta. Bungie should really work on making an official version if it.

2 RepliesConsole master race. We be saying this to your lot since forever.

It would be nice if PC had an LFG feature similar to the one on Xbox

5 RepliesA companion app is pretty common place now. It does the same thing so I don't really see why it matters if its in game or on your phone.

the stupid way battle.net handles friends and player pools doesn't help, you can't just join a friend if they happen to be online but need to make sure you've both launched destiny 2 on the same region setting, it's one of my favourite changes caused by the transfer to steam

You should be happy about the companion app and it’s fireteam section. Things were not that simple in D1.
