Most quests can be abandoned - and reaquired which is a very good thing. I also vouch to make ANY quest stoppable and to add a button to abandon it. Months ago, I had a problem with the Forge quest on my alt. I sadly picked up the quest by opening a chest and there was no way to get rid of it so I did the frigging entire quest line again..and hated it even more than on my initial run. Especially since Bungie has started to mix newer quests - they start with PvE, turn to PvP and back to PvE and vice versa. I hate that and therefore I would like to be able to just abandon them. I had too many quest steps lately I really did not want to do. Games shouldn't be this way. It would be also a great QoL change if you had the choice whether some items are dropping at all or not. The following items drop like Water and annoy me quite a lot: - as soon as I kill Cabal, I get the Acrius exotic quest for both my Titan and my Hunter. Any time. I have the quest active on my Warlock but sitting at 5/10. - I still get the gift for the cat statues in Dreaming City but I have them all and there is not one available any longer. Why excactly do they still drop? - Dreaming City Part 2: I have finished all Corsair quests a few times but this quest keeps dropping and dropping and dropping. Can it stop please? I have Bayron boughs and I also have blue items more than enough. - undecoded keys for Escalation Protocol. I have all armor and all weapons. Why do you still give me seven of this after a Strike so I need a minute to abandon them one by one - very annoying - Data fragments on Mars. After struggling for months, I got the 40th one some time ago. But still, the fragments drop and can't be abandoned. Storing room is tight so I would prefer to either have them not dropping at all or at least have an icon to dismantle it.
