Thanks for the feedback. We'll let the team know that "Exotic Hand Cannon Fatigue" is thing within the community.
Let us know what archetypes you would like to see more Exotics of in the future.

How they NEVER reload, how they barely pause even when an entire team has been sent to the grave from splash damage and continue to fire ENDLESS volleys of unending ammo at our ghost?! Scorch Cannons, Null and Arc Shock Cannons (Wrath of the Machine Raid as well as D2 Crucible labs), or how about a Shock Rifle like that carried by Fallen Vandals? Shock blade and Shock Pistol (Dregs Promise from D1)? What about the Hive Shredder that Knights and Acolytes use? Even Hive Swords... You should still have the template from the Taken King DLC. What about Vex Line Rifles or Slap Rifles? Any Golden Age weapons from before the fall or during the reign of the Iron Lords/Warlords? Weapons stashed away in the Exodus/Colony fleets from the Eliksni that made it into the system but were lost? Jovian research weapons? I'd love to have any and all of those weapons. Or even the Arc spear from Fallen vandals. What about those void saw blade cannons the Scorn have? Or the huge Axe from Rise of Iron?! That'd be AMAZING! Your game has so much lore to pull Amazing, fantastic weapons from. Yet every season seems to be steeped in another hand cannon, or re-skinned pulse rifle. I am hoping to be surprised in Shadow Keep. Edit: 'Wrath of the Machine Raid" sorry, we can tell I didn't raid much.

Just quit making these exotic quests with pvp steps. I’m not walking into a buzzsaw to entertain the sweaty people obsessed with pvp. Your pvp is garbage, it’ll never ever be anywhere close to balanced, and even if it was I’d still have no interest in playing it. Thanks for another exotic quest that’ll sit in cold storage.

We need more exotic bows personally a exotic multi arrow bow would be the coolest thing ever but instead of like 2 arrows shot at the same time it's just a bow that has multiple arrows fitted to the string so you can shoot rapid fire

Something like Vex Mythoclast or Pocket Infinity would be really cool

The archetype I would like to see is auto rifles and scouts. People don't understand what suppression and cover fire is so make a high mag moderate damage auto rifles so people understand. Scouts are moderate but need something to close the gap so put perks like timed payload, no distractions, and box breathing on them to let them be mid snipers.

Are you serious ? No it is not "exotic hand cannon fatigue" it is sick and tired of hand cannons period. Not only do noob cannons have the most exotics with 9 now with Lumina but they also have the most legendary's out of all the primaries at 45 with scout rifles in second at 43 and autos and pulses in third at 42. You tell whom ever is in charge at Bungie ENOUGH WITH THE NOOB CANNONS. SMGs only have 37 and sidearms are in last place at 35.

How about an exotic ghost shell that provides autonomous fire or tosses out arc/void/solar energy at enemies while you are in a fight. Or one that can deploy a limited shield to cover your flank from incoming fire. Give the ghost some actual utility.
