Bought this game a couple times back near launch. Been playing it on my PS4 but it just isn't the same as my PC (Obviously) and I'd like to get it again on PC. I know they fixed the thing with discord but are there any other programs that I should be worried about? I used to play modded zombies all the time so those are the programs I'm guessing got me banned. Just need some help bois

1 ReplyBungie is not going to reveal what applications they scan for because it will tip off code builders to modify those types of applications to hide detection. Simply don't run any software not required to operate the PC and run Destiny.

5 RepliesThe types of software includes but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific. So anything that injects code or that can be used to mod, train or cheat in other games, needs to be completely and totally turned off before running d2. Here is the link to Bungie's 3rd party app policy https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46101
We do not ban players for simply having cheat tools installed, but do ban for running them while playing Destiny 2. We do not differentiate between cheat tools for Destiny 2 and cheat tools for other games because it would be easy to avoid a ban by making a Destiny 2 cheat tool that pretends to be a cheat tool for another game. Make sure you turn all cheat tools off before running Destiny 2 and you won’t have to worry about bans.
(source)
