So I've been playing Destiny 2 for a couple of weeks now and love the game, however I am having difficulty with the Sturm quest. The part where you need to get an exotic to progress was very unclear to me, and still is in some ways. I found that you used to have to decrypt exotic engrams yourself and that progressed the quest, yet now that exotics automatically decrypt it seems that only a physical drop can trigger the next part of the quest. Wanted to know if this was intentional or if this a bug. I have tried every other kind of drop except for a pure random drop pickup to advance the quest to acquire Sturm.
