July 9th is plenty of time to grind out the rolls you're trying to get. You can usually average 5-6 opens if you are doing the same runes each time. Couple that with the chalice upgrade that can give you a second, non-powerful drop...yeah. Menagerie is fun for now, but it's going to reach the same plateau as black armory in that after you get all the rolls that you want, the incentives to do it drop out. That's not necessarily a good or bad thing, just how it's going to be. We've had over a month to grind out the rolls we want and Bungie was actually cool enough to be like "yo, we're gonna fix this but we're letting you know with over a week of prep time so you can get those last minute cheeses out of the way". With all the downtime today, they could have just fixed it and not say anything. You can pick an exact piece of gear and it's masterwork, as well as getting numerous rolls. Grind it out now; I managed to get 10+ fixed odds in a single run through high mobility and getting two in one chest a few times.
