I see the same problem as Reckoning, only worse. Watched some streams today of a three man team (Gladd) who had 2 or 3 Wells, I forget; redeem with multiple Wells on their team as well. Throw in Mountaintops and Recluse, and the meta is in a worse place that it has ever been in D2.
Why can't Bungie make challenging content were you can pick any subclass you like, and any loadout you want? We get more clautrophobic content where scouts and snipers can't shine. Well, tether, maybe bubble, and that's it for viable subclasses. Enemy damage is so high and mob spam is so high that is the only way to deal with it. To make matters worse, Skull, Shards, and Ursa were nerfed, so subclass options are even more restrictive than in the reckoning. Bungie tried to convince us that is was for the good that these exotics were nerfed, but the nerfs only ended up hurting the game. They were so desperate to make challenging content (which just ended up in creating bulletsponge one/two shotties) Bungie was willing to throw most of the games subclasses and many weapon types under the bus. They made an even more unbalanced mess of a game, and worst still, no exotics were buffed to the point of being competitive. I'm sick of running well, sick of running tether. I want to pick a subclass I like to play and engage in end game content. I want to pick a sniper instead of a shotty. My Beloved sniper is only useful for strikes and gambit, that's about it. Thanks Bungie for creating a totally unbalanced game.

Edited by cesar0s: 6/26/2019 9:44:15 PMThey run like that for views. It's not fun, and gets old extremely fast. The 99.99999999% of players who aren't streamers play what they want, and succeed. Don't base your game experience on what people on YouTube are doing...you can use whatever you want. Everyone throws around the word "meta" too often...just use your f'ing sniper if you want. I use Mida multi tool half the time for god sake--because it's fun.
