I couldn’t be any less excited about the new DLC. I thought Forsaken was ok, but now that Bungie has full control they answer the call by providing no new content.
I’ll pass on the new DLC. I’ve preordered the ultimate editions since the beginning of D1 but I won’t pay top dollar for laziness. Returning to the moon to fight old bosses sounds like a huge waste of my hard earned dough. No thanks Bungie.

You're entitled to your opinion and make some valid points. It's unfortunate that you're getting so much hate here. I'm guessing they're either relatively new or the brainwashed types that have given up on critical thinking.

Whats wrong with sticking to what is established in the Destiny universe and has proven to work?

1 ReplyFair enough. I had a similar thought watching the ViDoc. The game won’t ever improve as long as people are willing to snap up bad content. The past 2 years have shown that D2 really needs to improve. It’s funny to me to see all the strawmen being built in this thread about the cost, or your ability to afford the game. Ignorant and arrogant is a horrible combination. I still have hope the game improves. Time will tell if that was a mistake or not.

2 RepliesSo? People have been asking for d1 locations to return to d2.

Typical Hunter lol

1 Reply<And what about the Black Garden? That which has new textures, completely redone old areas and clearly a -blam!-ton of new ones? What do you think of the Black Garden?>

It should be interesting to see how they bring back dead bosses as nightmares. I have a feeling that they will just be a part of the story line or maybe a strike boss or two. The raid should have all new boss(es). I think it will be fine, space magic bringing back old favorites to kill.

Oh, wait... Return of the Jedi... death star again. My life is over!!!

And?? Lol they always have done this in Destiny 2 and now you're realizing it's a problem lol

4 RepliesYou do know that it is the old moon, but with an entire new part attached to it. It is literally double the original size of the old moon. It is kinda a bummer that these old bosses are coming back, but have we ever really been disappointed with Bungie’s September or comet expansions? Let’s be real here, it’ll probably be a pretty good DLC, worth 35-40 bucks, and we’ll enjoy it. No need to be needlessly negative.

1 ReplyOnly thing worse are the recycled forum threads.

According to the reveal stream the new moon map is 4x as large of the old moon, so it's essentially 3 old moon's worth of new content on top of a reworked moon map from D1. Also, with all the new reworks coming down the pipe involving armor and new stats with gear, and new crucible maps and modes there will certainly be plenty of new stuff to stay busy. Also, I HIGHLY doubt that we'll only be fighting Nightmares, there has to be some new threat that is causing everything

3 RepliesIf $40 is to much for you id suggest you go get working. When I heard about the DLC, I picked up an extra 4 hour shift that week at work. That income will cover the costs of the DLC and ill play the game far longer then the 4 hours of work it took for me to pay for it. Sure itll be in a place we have been before and itll probably be the same old enemies, but that's been destiny since day one. We replay the same stikes, PvP, gambit, raids, etc., and yet we all still play. All that has changed here is that we have another planet to go to and those who played D1 get to have a trip down memory lane with their friends. Im interested to see where they go and if i play more then 40 hours then ill be happy to say i got way more then my money's worth. Also, I have always enjoyed the story behind the hive so itll be nice to get more story content focused on them. Im not a fanboy of Bungies and have done my fair share of complaining about this game, but to complain about the price for the dlc is silly. They made a thing and you wanna play it. They are a business and have to make a profit to both pay their employees and please their investors. If they fail to do either they will either have no staff to work on destiny or have no source of equity to support their business ventures going forward.

1 ReplyRite. Let’s go to Pluto or something. Fav planet. Love an underdog. Nah but for real some places are worth revisiting for the landscapes and textures alone. Just my opinion. But amp it up
-
1 ReplyYup nothing ground breaking just d1 raid bosses added into d2 . And armor like anthems system kinda

1 ReplyEdited by Snez: 6/26/2019 3:40:07 PMI think we got ourselves a buzzkill who has no idea what’s coming and is too stubborn to realise improvement of a once failing studio.
