No not necessarily. A triple cheeseburger doesn't make a double cheeseburger bad. They both have the same ingredients just one have something extra and same can go for titan and warlocks. Just because a warlock have something extra doesn't make Titans weak titans can be used in endgame, menagerie had greanade modifier recently so what can Titans use. I have an ashen wake build with 5+ ordanace mods and I was basically doing insane burst damage because Ashen wake grenades do more damage than regular sticky. Void Titans don't spoil our little secret bungie must not know. Titans just are to hate to say it simple minded, they don't try new things besides kick things in head and say I want to be like warlock. Try using other exotics other builds and hey if you buff Titans more power to me but I don't think we necessary need a buff but just you as a titan need a find a place in which you excell and do well at.

Now the “up and close” from Titans are for hunters dealing the most Meele damage. Hunters are great and all. I like to play all three classes, but titans by now have nothing to offer. I’m just better of with my hunter and warlock

Titans are good for this weeks boss in heroic menagerie.

9 RepliesSo five mods and a modifier (that isnt present in raids) and a burn (again not present in raids) and titans can do "burst damage". Lol and that makes us viable? If I want burst damage on my titan I will use melting point with peregrine greaves no modifiers needed and mods just help, and trust me no titan or anyone for that matter thinks melting point is bad. I'm so ****ing sick of people accusing titan mains of not knowing how to use there class. News flash most builds people like you suggest are not only has creative has you think they are, but they would never ever be viable in raids. Also also menagerie (normal) is not end game content. You literally cannot fail menagerie and at 740+ fully completing an encounter isnt hard at all.

3 RepliesHorrible analogy at the start, allow me to break it down. Warlocks have: high damage super(s), good class ability that does a better job than Titans, better ad clearing supers, more buff/debuff options. Hunters have: high damage supers, great ad clear, better debuff option than Titan as it lasts longer. Titans have: melting point, rally is ok as long as there's only 2-3 people standing behind it. Titans are simply not versatile and not even the best at what little we can do.

1 ReplyIt’s not necessarily that we’re bad. It’s just that most things that can we do are done better/more efficiently by the other classes.
-
7 RepliesWarlocks and hunters both have better support and dps supers than us, our Titan supers are garbage compared and need buffed, only useful thing we have is melting point really
-
2 RepliesYeah, but when the other 2 classes do all of your jobs better it makes you very obsolete
-
Apparently titans have a use this week. At the last boss in Heroic Menagerie you can drop a bubble and the wall just goes past it and everyone can stay inside then pop out and keep dps going without switching sides.
-
2 RepliesMiddle tree sentinel should be able to place the shield in the ground so that that team member doesn't sacrifice their own dps. Some exotic gauntlets that do that would work.

1 ReplyThis mans has two titans and is using year 1 crownsplitter

4 RepliesEdited by blade329: 6/25/2019 8:31:12 PMI main all three classes and the Titan works fine in every activity I've played. I don't see the problem. Just because I doesn't have as fast of a melting boss super, doesn't make it bad. Unless you are facing a raid boss alone, it's irrelevant.

Edited by puppyk1sses: 6/26/2019 2:42:21 AMTitans are great for endgame pve - 1 subclass that is. Just as you could say 1 subclass is great for Hunter, and Warlock pve. Only 3 things that matter are MP, Well, and Tether. Each class brings one of the 3. Granted, Titans are the most situational but MP really helps burn stuff down.

19 RepliesEdited by Lord Araphel: 6/25/2019 10:30:09 PMTitans need a dps buff and a rework on top tree bubble. Burning maul is to costy and needs either a duration or cost reduction. Striker is fine but thundercrash needs a significant damage 100k for a 1 and done super is very bad dps and the dive just needs to be a 1 hit kill in pvp since shoulder charge is. Sentinel top tree needs weapons of light in the bubble the need to bring back glasshouse. Titans need various tweaks but not a full blown buff except thundercrash.

13 RepliesNo. Just people who are rigid and not-very-creative in their use. Now that Bungie has acknowledged that Destiny is an MMO-hybrid...it gets back to the "Holy Trinity" of MMOs: DPS/Tank/Support/Healer. In a traditional MMO, Tanks control the aggro in a fight and direct it away from the other two classes. Their job is to control enemy movement and to attract and absorb damage. DPS players have the job of dealing out damage. Support players heal the damage done to the other two classes, and provide various buffs allies and debuffs to enemies. The only people complaining about Titans are raiders....and people who can't see beyond the Boss damage cycle and the Support role. IOW, the problem is that Warlocks and Hunters offer powerful support buffs in Nightstalker and Dawnblade (Well of Radiance)....while Titans have largely had that ability taken away. What those complainers fail to realize is that Titans are still a VERY powerful DPS class and a powerful "tank". So what they lack in support buffs, they make up for in dealing out a LOT of damage that other people can buff without having to resort to exotics to do so. Also these raiders are so focus on boss damage cycles that they fail to consider that ADD CONTROL (a major function of tanks and DPS classes) is also a very valuable ability With the bottom Focus of the STriker build....I can do as good a job of crowd control and orb generation as any Nightstalker. The other problem is that Bungie began DESIGNING content specifically AROUND the use of Well and the Use of Nightstalker tether...and to counter their use. Thus making having Hunters and Warlocks in the party almost mandatory. Not becuase Titans are "weak"....but because Bungie is THUMBING the scale.

1 ReplyTitans: “Who are you..?” The other two classes: “We’re you, just with abilities better suited in a fast paced PvE environment.”
-
Melting point is a must for raids dude WTF are you talking about...
-
I don’t know, Captain America did very well in Endgame. 🤷♂️
-
4 RepliesWell sorry to say but that's very wrong. Ok congrats that you did good in the Menagerie, which isn't endgame, but when's the last time your subclass contributed during a Raid boss? Obviously were not counting Melting point here, because Hunters and Warlock have more than one way of helping out. There are many buffs that could be put out that'd make Titans beloved in raids. Being able to slap down a banner shield so you can still do dmg instead of just standing there like an idiot. Putting dome somewhere where it was in D1. Also making Tgubdercrash more powerful than Nova would be nice since we are literally suicide bombing into the enemy and hoping we don't get melted immediately.

Code of the devastator wrecks and code of the commander along with other trees for titans wreck. Stop trying to play like a warlock

4 RepliesEdited by BloodS1ay3r: 6/25/2019 8:03:11 AMI like (blank) with the (blank) still. With (blank) tree you can really keep the super going.
-
6 RepliesI found a use in the crown raid. Top tree with syntoceps all de way. I’ve also used bubble with saint 14 during reckoning. Hammers isn’t used much these days but at least the defender class still has potential

They had us in the first half, not gonna lie.
