I suggest 140's should get a small damage buff to be able to 2 crit 1 body in the crucible, there is no reason to use a 140 over a 150

They have more range, are more accurate, and require less shots to kill if you miss a headshot.

They do 2 crit 1 body...

4 RepliesIf you can 2 crit 1 body with a 140 then what would be the point of using a 110??

there is no reason to use a 140 over a 150
Actually, there is. They may kill in the same number of shots, but that's not taking into account other damage sources. If a teammate shoots an enemy with a sniper bodyshot, you're more likely to kill them after that. There are hundreds of different weapon combinations that can happen other than this one. I've never agreed with this idea that time to kill is the only thing that matters. Much of the time, a slower time to kill weapon will outgun a faster weapon because they often have more consistency. It's the reason why I never considered Luna's Howl overpowered. Literally its only advantage over other weapons is its optimal time to kill.

Bump. Ive never understood the point behind having 140 and 150 rpm hand cannons that kill in the same combinations of headshots and bodyshots. 140s I guess have better base stats but I wouldnt consider that to be worth shorter time to kill.

When you're a little out of range a 140 will still kill in 3 crits. A 150 not so much.

I agree, but they should only be able to do this before any damage falloff occurs.
there is no reason to use a 140 over a 150
I would use my austringer over my luna's any day what are you saying? And I don't think hand cannons need a buff. In the right hands you can kill well with 110s and 180s and anything in between.

hand cannons are fine how they are.

10 ROF differnce but a 2 damage difference is stupid. 150 should do around 73 to the head and kill in the number of shots you suggested
