While some encounters are tolerable with it two currently remain unacceptable.
The Hunted: The instakilling thrall swarms are bad enough but once the knights spawn in this just gets infuriating. The enclosed space ensures you’ll either be against the knight or the thrall and the knights are capable of OHK’s on even 750 guardians when blackout it on, tearing through respawn shielding and jumping is of no help.
The Riposte: Blackout with the ogres and the fact you are required to get in melee range makes this nearly intolerable. The ogre slams wipe out your team and there is genuinely no way to avoid it as you have to get up close and personal to break shields.

Blackout is not the problem! The problem is poor coordination / cohesion between the players and failure to think. Here’s some tips: Warlocks, don’t be selfish pricks - just run the f***ing Well! If you aren’t happy in a supporting role, change your damn class! (coming from a Warlock before anyone moans). Just because you are a guardian does mean that youare the hero! You don’t need to run in and rob every f***ing sword that drops from the knights, work as a team to destroy the knights and there’ll be enough swords to go round. Again, you are not the hero! If you notice that one or two guardians actually look like they know what they are doing and are doing a good job of it, don’t bloody hinder them! Know your role! Sometimes the best role you can play for your team to succeed is ad-control. It may not seem very glamorous but often this is more important than being the dude to pick up the.... throw the..... you get the point..... Be flexible. If you are in matchmaking with randoms, do not expect them to step aside and let you do whatever you want. Be prepared to fill whichever role is needed, and more importantly, be prepared to switch roles immediately if needed.
