Iron Banner quest
Just want to know how everyone is enjoying this quest line (extra grind)

Grindy as hell. Good rewards for it though.

4 RepliesIt's a great idea on paper, but it's a different story in practice. Mainly acquiring armor only through this long drawn out quest. I don't think it should be account wide, or should be easier but I feel like it should be changed a bit. Like having armor drop from Token redemption like normal, but then the Quest would unlock direct purchases that offer random rolls. So you can start grinding tokens and purchase armor directly for the perks you're after while also giving those with limited time to play the access to the armor just to have it with Token redemption.

Why bother doing this quest? Unless you love PvP grind, have at it, I'll skip it all together

Great idea but incredibly poorly executed, even for bungie. There’s literally no reason the steps couldn’t have been simultaneous and some parts are just ridiculous (eg grenades and 50 matches), even with 3 IBs to do them. Thankfully I don’t really like the helmet because the chances of me getting it are about 0.

I managed to finish this quest this week. Was grindy, but not the worst.
