I haven't mentioned my Quiver re-work in a while, I just figured it would be a good idea to get out there before Shadowkeep launches.
In a nutshell, Quiver should make Shadowshot cast the bow for use in first person like Golden Gun. We have normal bows now, so it is a great opportunity for potential.
For functionality, You can have arrows travel like those of normal bows. Draw time be that of shadowshot. Keep all tethers and effects the same.
Crucible minded ideas of mine are that this variation can one-shot non-super guardians to the head and if the target is already tethered. Any other condition is a two-shot (body or super just means getting tethered anyway)
I feel like Quiver in First person gives the Pathfinder tree more meaning into the idea of attacking and supporting allies by doing it in a more aggressive manner vs drifting in the sky trying to aim the thing. It wouls solve the uninterest some have in it because of the nature of having to spam super activation to maximize potential. Its bonus for attacking tethered targets would also be much easier as you can control your shots much better and they'd be much faster.
Hopefully, a dev sees this idea this time. It just looks so great in my head.

2 RepliesI like the idea of making all shadowshots a first person thing but at the same time 3rd person seems fine to me
