I can't stand them. they're either shilling for an AAA title or they're trying to stir controversy where there really isn't any. about 5% of all games journalism is worth reading/ actually reports the news/informed reviews

There are two "journalists" that I trust when it comes to gaming. Jim Sterling for gaming opinions and general punditry about the unethical behavior of corporations. Jason Shrier from Kotaku. His opinions suck but every investigative report has ended up being verified. The troubled development of destiny 1, 2, Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem all verified. The plot of Assassins creed Odyssey, Origins, and syndicate all revealed years before launch. The confirmation of the existance and plot of Fallout 4 a month before launch, and the list goes on and on.
