So the bottom line is Bungie are no longer letting you choose any items you want from the free bright dust options in the store. So you can only ever get completely random items from their free engrams and everything in the store is real money only.
Bungie seem to get more greedy with every passing moment.
O but you can still do challenges to get bright dust right? Even if they keep that the most expensive bright dust items are 3250 dust. That means you need to do their most rewarding challenge which gives only 150 dust 22 times. Like wow just 22 times that’s so easy and reasonable right? haha
On the bright side I no longer have any reason to so much as look at what is in the rip-off Eververse store so saves us all some time.

not exactly that - instead, they force you to play things you dont want to to earn bright dust. im not a fan of crucible - i play rumble only for quest stages when i have to. i do strikes usually for same thing. i dont raid or nightfall since those are speed contests for scores and i play on controller because i can no longer mouse keys and play worse with mouse keys. so raid and nightfall are out - no bright dust there. crucible i dont like and strikes im wary of doing since people treat ALL strikes like they are nightfalls and speed through. I WANT TO ENJOY MY CONTENT NOT SEE IT FLASH PAST IN A BLUR LIKE IM ON A SPEEDING FAST TRAIN. so i dont like strikes. because the whole ' choice' story thing im too wary of dealing with the drifter to play gambit at all. i dont want to do anything that is potentially helping the REAL enemy, the darkness that cause the Collapse. i do gambit only if i have to and only once. my hunter earned ace of spades so i can get it from collections. dont need to play gambit to deal with the quest for my titan or warlock. this change does effectively remove any reason to go to eeververse AT ALL bungie. im sure im not alone in not playing crucible, strikes for not being fun, and gambit for in game roleplay reasons. so in effect it makes the prospect of me spending money on SILVER almost non existent, the changes. is that intended? or am i reading the post bungie made about eververse wrong? unless of course at level cap 50 or whatever shadowkeep will be, you still get free bright engrams to use there. tbh eververse feels like something that was forced on bungie from outside. much like the in game store was forced on monolith for their shaddow of war game.

So you already must have Shadowkeep since you obviously know how much everything will cost, and how much brightdust you get for literally just playing the game.

1 ReplyYou need to read dude. You get bright dust from bounties now also. Seriously just read properly before you post dribble.

You will still be able to buy things from the store for bright dust, but the only place to get bright dust going forward is bounties. Dismantle everything you don't need from EV now to make a nice little stockpile and buy it back after for glimmer/shards after the update. They told everyone so we could plan ahead.

4 RepliesAre you high? They never said that bright dust would be removed. All they said is that the armor will dismantle into shards and glimmer .
