Make tripmines 1 hit kill ability for hunters!

A titan has shoulder charge. A warlock has handheld supernova. In D1 the hunter had back stap that could 1 hit when your melee was full and tripmines that could 1 hit. Now they have nothing like that. Hunter grenades are terrible. I want the tripmines to 1 hit kill again and the Ahamkhara gloves to give 2 extended tripmines again. Tripmines was so much fun in D1. Bring it back to what they were!

  • No. 1. Handheld supernova is only available on one subclass path of voidwalker, which has a severely nerfed and useless super. 2. Handheld Supernova is worthless due to shotguns and it’s inconsistency. 3. Tripmine grenades are available for all 3 paths of gunslinger. 4. Hunters and their exotics, supers, movements and abilities are OP; they overpopulate PvP and need to be nerfed, never buffed.

      • And allow them to stick, it is vey annoying when i try to get someone with one at it bounces off and detonates, and does not even damage them. Absolutely no one puts down a trip mine and expects a enemy player to just walk through them. It has a bright red flash every second to warn there is a trip mine.

        • In a game where everything is becoming one hit kills do we really want more things in the game one hit killing players? Idk about you guys but crucible lately is nothing but one shot weapons and abilities and I’m sick of it. Special ammo and heavy ammo is everywhere in crucible leaving no primary play. There is almost no primary gun fights in this game, its all special weapons followed by primary weapon in case they run out of special ammo. With the amount of scavenger perks in the game players can literally go around using special weapons all game without even using their primary once. Im tired of shoulder charge, tired of heavy weapons, tired of one shots

          Tripmines are straight trash now and it hurts. I’ll use spine with it and they rarely get a kill. It’s literally a gernade that punishes mindless aggressive pushing but you can just slide through it and avoid all damage. They shouldn’t stick to people, but if you set them off and you’re close to it then it should OHK

        • Sticky tripmines, Ahh the memories. Locks should also get OHk fusions along with titan stickies too, bring them all back, that would be some fun saltiness.

          • No thanks. Handheld Supanova isn't actually that great in Crucible, despite its effectiveness in PvE. Yes, I agree shoulder charge is a bit cheesy haha

            • I can see where you’re coming from but you can’t compare shoulder charge to grenades like hand held and trip mines. If a titan just goes around trying to tackle you then he’ll end up dying more than killing. Honestly I’d like throwing knifes to one hit to the head again.

              • Shoulder charge, in a shotty meta? It's frustrating as Hell, but it's useless. Supernova is also frustrating, but it's inconsistent. We don't need more one-hit kill abilities that frustrate everyone but the user.

                        As a fellow gunslinger hunter.No that’s op.Trip-mines right now are in a great spot and are a skill grenade that can work effectively if comboed with something like a last word body shot giving an almost instakill.

                            As someone who has mained both Gunslinger [i]and[/i] Tripmines since this franchise’s existence first started, I give this a gritty, in-your-face, [b]no.[/b] In the first place, they have NEVER one-shot anyone who didn’t have zero resilience during a period of time in D1, or unless they stuck to the target. The latter was rare, and the former was rectified after a while. And to ask [i]any[/i] grenade to kill instantly without any situational requirements is ridiculous. Shoulder Charge has an activation window and requires a physical commitment to the place of impact. Handheld Supernova has limited effective range and a setup window. My personal views on either of those aside (the latter is busted), it’s unrealistic to compare those to a grenade.

                            • As a hunter id say no, if anything they should just bring back the sticky aspect of the grenade because even then it could accidentally kill you. Having it 1 shot kill on the wall would be very annoying especially with Ahamkara's Spine.

                                • So you’re now saying a campy ability should 1-hit If anything for hunters should 1-hit it’s the throwing knives Precision=1 hit Explosive = no 1-hit 3 knives= all 3 on head 1 hit

                                  • I wouldn't mind sticky tripmines again that stick to targets even if it doesn't 1 hit kill in crucible. Also hunters need 1 hit throwing knives again and faster throw speed.
