soo about super armor....
When is every other roaming super going to get the spectral blades treatment? Dawnblade is busted, hammers are busted. How come spectral is the ONLY roaming super to get the nerf when the others are just as overpowered?
edit: I'm mainly talking about the roaming supers. Blade Barrage and Nova Bomb are one time use and both can be inconsistent. Golden Gun is fair where it's at. Thundercrash could kinda use a buff actually (especially in PvE).
Also clarifying that I'm not saying this is a class specific issue, roaming supers across the board are kinda easy 'I win' buttons in the crucible. While yes, Supers should be powerful, they also should have more shut down options other than niche weapons or other supers or down right busted weapons (looking at you, lord of wolves).
Am I saying make them as weak as they were in vanilla d2? Hellllll no. A couple of them could also use some tweaking ie; sentinel hit detection so spam throwing shields isnt the only options.

8 RepliesAre you really complaining about warlock supers? Nova warp is trash Nova bomb is good (one tree only) but it is a one off Stormtrance is only good against non supered enemies. Terrible at combating any other super Dawnblade is pretty good but has horrible impact radius, wonky tracking, and subpar hit registration. Only bottom tree is good. Chaos reach.... I still cant see what I'm aiming at. Well of radiance is shut down by any super or oneshot from most special/heavy weapons. Your hunter is your highest character, so assume you main it. Hunters have all around great supers. Arcstrider was amazing before forsaken, and now you have the ability to block weapons and supers while hitting me from 15ft away. Golden gun is a near infinite range hitscan super that can oneshot all other super. Tether can be good if you know how to use it. Spectral blades is still good even after the nerf. They honestly should have nerfed it into the ground like they did with nova warp. Blade barrage is literally the best one off super. It shuts down all other supers. Has insane tracking. It can literally destroy my nova bomb and kill me with it. Has insane armor on cast.

So glad super amor is getting nerfed in fall, its ridiculous how high it is. Right now Spectral is perfect. I can shut it down by myself consistently but one error and Im dead. I still end up needing to run often but its good to know I can actually fight it. By nature Dawnblade is going to be the most difficult to fight like Spectral so I think the two should have the same armor. Fists of Havoc have too much and its ridiculous. I had a dude survive 3 shots with trench barrel active ffs. That is NOT ok. Sentinel honestly is fine. It should be tanky but its still very killable. Hammers on the other hand need a hefty resistance nerf. A ranged roaming super with AOE and can get speed buff needs to be low armor. Arcstrider needs a tiny nerf but nothing big. I think thats really everything. Storm and Nova Warp are fine as is and Golden is just as it was in D1 so it works.

3 Repliesthis is coming from a man who has clearly never used hammers, I know people will assume I'm just a titan elitist, but hammers are fine where they are, they only one shot if you direct hit or are on the ground and the hammers explosion (Not the multi-explosion of top tree) hits you. Just sounds like you're butthurt your crutch super got nerfed after being broken for nearly 2 seasons

15 RepliesI’m currently playing stormtrance, kind of new to warlock in general so I guess this is kind of more of a question. Don’t I have around the same health as spectral while Im in super? It kind of feel like it sometimes, a sniper headshot will still put me on red or one shot me. I get the feeling that golden gun, spectral and stormtrance have around the same health/armor. Then other roamers like strikers, sentinels and dawnblades are nearly invincible. I could be very wrong, it’s just how it feels but I’m also curious as to an order or list of some sort if anybody has one?

Nearly every other super can counter it, shield throw is jerky, hits are too slow, enemy targeting is horrible, anyone can outrun it, and it barely buffs your armor. I'm not saying it's horrible (especially since I still main it). In the right circumstances it can perform well, but there are so many drawbacks while using it. Also, it's one of the few supers that can survive Blade Barrage (when blocking or in bubble). [spoiler]Edit: It actually doesn't block in bubble. I need to play top tree more.[/spoiler]

So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

3 RepliesI don't disagree, but I'd like to point out invis and wallhacks are included in that. Invis isn't that great, but it is excellent for making it difficult to lead my target with a suppression grenade
