HOW IS BUNGIE BETTER NOW THAT ACTIVISION IS GONE!

The truth is Bungie is just a failure, period.

Everyone who thought things were going to get better as Activision walked out the door was kidding theirselves.

Remember D1 and it’s glory? That was Activision over the shouldering on Bungie.
lmao I'm convinced you're an activision employee tryna shit on bungie here because stockholders estimated an annual loss of profits greater than the deal made with Bungie.

 • Far from it. I’m just a gamer from the old Halo: Comabt Evolved and old Call of Duty days where both company’s were rivals in the online FPS Competitive scene. Grew up watching both company’s bring out more and more of what was at the time masterpieces on both ends: Halo 3 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare Years pass and Bungie was kicked off their own flagship and Activision teams up with long time rival to bring to us a new “partnership-love child” Destiny. I read all the reviews, the upcoming and sneak peaks into the thinking and process of this amazing world that we will have the chance to explore. Then came the release date and Destiny instantly grabs hold of you when they drop you in and introduce to you “Dinklebot” our Ghost. Peter Dinklage was a great choice at first, then to be over worked later (understandable because Dinklage stepped down due to previous arrangements GOT) however we got -Installation 343 - Guilty Sparks - Nice touch of nostalgia and almost funny how Nolan ends up being another floating sphere talking to us like we don’t know what we are doing. But then came Destiny 2: promises of the casuals finally being able to participate and have a chance at this. Bring in more players, remove what use to be the bane of Destiny and make it fresh. ALMOST made it as well. Just forgot to add more for those that spent over 16hrs a day on it, so they introduced Bounties again. Little insignificant change to try to make it a grind again. Removing random rolls so we all didn’t have to go grind for millions of years for that 1 roll on a weapon that the other plausible rolls shouldn’t even have been allowed on some weapons. Then let’s fast forward: Bungie starts pointing blame at Activision for rushing them to finish projects? To work faster? I mean they can’t get what they already had released to stay up to par because it was LACKING what we all needed. So instead, Bungie brings about Pre Rolled to “God Roll” weapons- aka Pinnacle weapons. Sounds interesting, what’s involved with that. Some pinnacle weapons sound obtainable- Horror Story, Breakneck, Then came the insane- Not Forgotten, Luna’s Howl, Recluse, Mountain Top, Hush, Wendigo, Wizened Rebuke “Must kill 500 guardians in iron banner under your light level” when light level advantages were around, not to mention the spamming of skip grenades due to Revelry. Made it something MOST people looked at and thought -Blam- that. Then when you go look for help on these things since most of them are team based, you come across: Account Recovery- Paid to Win, Pay to Get Gear, Pay to Play, Pay to be Relevant This opened up every weapon to be Pay to Win. Hell if you just go to google and type in Destiny Carries I see over 5 pages of websites willing to take your cash for these things, going from Completing Iron Banner, Competitive, even just getting Mida MiniTool. Why? Because no one wants the stress of being stacked up against people who take advantage of the low percentage of players without the time to complete of even begin half of these quests, and run them over. Again: as the best example, I made a fresh account, 0 gamer score, started up destiny, got the quest from Shaxx to play the 2 Quickplay matches and play 2 comp matches. Quick play I was run down in my first match by a stacked team of Luna’s-Not Forgotten - One Eye Mask. If I was a brand new player, never played Destiny before, being 1 tapped and spawn killed doesn’t sound like a game I’d be interested in investing so much time into if there’s other games that bring the FPS-Looter-RPG mechanics to life: Borderlands has and always will be #1 on that list, Co-op Campaign, about 2% of that may be PvP - you know, Dueling- other then that it’s got value and long lasting playability. You can beat the game over and over and not be done that it makes it entertaining but yet there’s always a way to make it to the end. There’s never a “you’ll never reach this” moment. Someone earlier pointed out about WoW: that the players that don’t like it don’t play it. That’s also why Bungies player base JUST reached over a million because of HOPE that the next installment will bring much needed change. Does no one remember the 30,000 players that dropped off because of this game being dumb, or the fact that it’s become so PvP oriented that people that don’t like being forced into PvP are seeing more and more things being directed there. Like hiding a Masterwork -Catalyst being Legend Rank in Glory? Who is going to get that, oh yeah the 1% of players, to go trash everyone else that can’t even get passed 200 Glory because it’s so toxic, so far from fair when the only way to get to the top is if your friend is committing felonies or yourself to DDoS the other team, lag switch to victory or take things like the a broken Lord of Wolves and mow down everyone. Again: looking in things that need fixing or known issues, there’s not on mention of Lord of Wolves, no mention of getting Guitar during the raid at Riven, no mention of the fact that they ripped out a quest that most people didn’t get to finish because we were busy with, you know, LIFE so the jerky can’t be obtained, the Drifter is still asking us to pledge alliance and we can’t get the stupid thing to go away. It’s like Shaxx and Crimson Days all over again. Why not fix this? Why not take better care of the game you made? Because they are a half assed company. That’s why the have had just about every one of their games taken away from them and put in more capable and much more caring companies. Look at Halo now. It’s got life it’s got variety. Bungie almost had it right in Reach and then Boop, removed
