*couldn't You couldn't care less. Implying that you don't care in the first place. If you could care less, it implies that you do care in the first place.
-
What if he does care...just cares less bout Tess and eververse... Nothing worse than some grammar shammar dude on the internet. Do you go around correcting people as they speak? I wouldn't advise doing that.

Edited by toneDef Weary: 6/20/2019 12:32:35 PMWhy do so many people take offense to being corrected? I wasn't trying to (be) an a-hole about it. Maybe OP's native language isn't English and they welcome the correction. Heck, English is my native language and I always welcome corrections. Edit - See parentheses(SP?). See, I'm not infalible. XD
-
Why do so many people assume people WANT to be corrected. As I said. You wanna assume that's okay....do you correct people who speak slang....talk with a southern draw....etc? Nah...that wouldn't be smart. I bet you even use things like ....OK. WTF. BTW. Any abbreviations isn't correct grammar. I don't see any of you correcting someone when they type a full sentence like - wdyftntcp - that equals why do you feel the need to correct people. Who made you...or anyone else...in charge to correct strangers? The only person who seemed offended here is you...after all you are the one who felt the need to...correct him. So you were offended by his use of words. If you weren't offended by the use of the words....you wouldn't type out a few sentences about it. Easily viewed as belittling. If you just have to correct ppl spelling. Then you gotta do it to everyone...if not you are just targeting specific ppl....who offended you.
-
Since I was never offended like the namby pamby crybabies of today, I just thought I was providing a free bit of helpful information. Forgive me oh master of all.
-
Odd....you asserted yourself into that role. Master of all.... You still don't realize his wording is correct. It's your assumption that makes it incorrect.
-
My assumption is just as correct as yours, untill OP comes here to tell us which is making the correct assumption. It would also seem that you and I are simply proving the age old addage at this point, since we are both making asses out of ourselves.
-
Indeed. You felt the need to correct someone. I felt the need to correct someone. Difference is that my assumption is based off your reply. The need to correct someone. Instead of not replying...and just moving on. You felt the need to justify all of it. In return...we have our dialogue.
-
You really feel a need to be right don't you? It's okay, I'll bow out and let you have the win. Good day sir, madam, apache attack chopper, or whatever else it is the kids these days are identifying as.
-
Curly Bill said it best... Well....Bye...
-
If you're gonna do it, don't half ass it. Ya gotta link that gif my dude.
-
If I was a kid as you implied...maybe I would have. But....since I am old....gif's and meme's aren't what I tend to think of. My 18 year old son tho....he quick wit it. He be sending me stuff all the time. I don't mind...I get it. The pic's ppl use on those things are usually embedded in my mind already...so I really don't need a gif/meme for any help. Thanks tho, I'll see if I can save this thing so I can be a cool kid

Edited by toneDef Weary: 6/20/2019 9:49:26 PMNot once did I imply that you were a kid. You need some reading comprehension.
Good day sir, madam, apache attack chopper, or whatever else it is the kids these days are identifying as.
This was simply me cracking wise on being up there in age myself. Edit - At any rate, you can continue to talk down to people, and I'll do as I said and leave this discussion.
-
Edited by Shatterday: 6/20/2019 10:01:23 PMI mean...what? You literally just quoted yourself...implying I'm a kid. So how about you go be....what the kids are calling themselves these days....see that's me implying you're a kid. For a grammar shmammar dude...you seem to have trouble comprehending. At any rate tho Bye.

I love grammar and pedantry.
