TL;DR
On September 17, 2019:
- All Eververse armor (new and armor you’ve already acquired!) is being converted into Universal Ornaments
- Universal Ornaments can be attached to any newly acquired Legendary armor
- Bright Dust is going to come from doing bounties, not dismantling things you spent money on
- Eververse items can now be pulled from your Collections with Glimmer/Legendary Shards instead of Bright Dust
Before September 17, 2019:
- Dismantle all of your unused Eververse items to maximize your Bright Dust reserves

too bad your dev team couldn't put as much passion into matchmaking, strikes, new crucible maps, or y1 vendors as they do with eververse. I will buy nothing.
-
Still not going to spend real money on cosmetics in the game. Period. These bright dust changes dont mean shit to me and that you literally can't buy anything good with bright dust anyways. Instead of this Eververse crap...how about...Remove Cores From Infusion!!! You asshats!!

Edited by TwigTwig: 6/20/2019 8:55:18 AMThe bounties are absolutely garbage for dust. 10 PvP matches for 150. This change is even worse. Seeing as you're going 'F2P' (after all of your players have spent $200), I can only assume that eververse is going to get worse and worse. You're already charging $4 for a single weapon skin. In a game that has an ever changing meta and influx of new weapons. What was it, $8 for a Whisper skin that I stupidly purchased? A skin that will never again be used because you nerfed the weapon into the ground? You've removed another way of earning bright dust, and people are applauding you for it. I suppose that's a feat in and of itself. Congratulations. Edit: Depending on whether or not the bounties offer more than the measly 20 dust that they do now, this could be a positive change. But we all know they won't.

Next thing that comes up is Brite Dust being done away with! 6 months later, a year tops, Pay to Win exotics are available for purchase in Eververse for Silver! I'm calling it!
I hope this is not the case!

Bungie better not become like Bethesda and have an overpriced store, wait! It's already overpriced!
-
I don't like the way this is going. This along with New Light suggest a pay to win conversion ALREADY in process. I'll be holding off purchasing until DLC is released and community feedback has leveled out and co e to consensus. I don't like the signs I'm seeing from Bungie right now on the back end of the game. I also feel like many of the things that are being touted for shadowkeep or probably old rejected systems that they've had in place for a long time that they're just throwing to pull more money out of us. do any of y'all not expect tons of glitchfest with those new execution moves? I'm good. Definitely waiting. Bad indicators rn

Edited by BlitzStorm: 6/21/2019 11:53:59 AMShame my silver is still glitched into the negative when I never bought anything from Eververse that didn't already use bright dust. Hm... looks like I have less reason to buy silver packs to get our of the overdraft.

Bungie don't get me wrong I love all the raids but they way you guys are doing loot compared to d1 is a total letdown .. in D2 each raid had all the major weapons in the pool .. scout, auto, pulse, handcannon, machine gun, rocket launcher, the raid exotic, shotgun, sniper , and fusion rifle.. I'm not 100% on what else but these weapons also had perks that helped in the raid .. small things like more damage to oracles that made a great difference they worth using in the raid ... I'm D2 other than the big expansion raids last wish and Leviathan we don't even get half of what we did in d1 .. spire of stars and eater of worlds had 2 drops that only filled out the rest of the leviathan loot pool .. scourge had 4 weapons that were split between the forges .. and crown of sorrow has 4 weaopons and menagarie has two of the same type of weapons as the raid shotgun and machine gun .. You guys have to stop this it makes the raid less valuable and not as much of a reason to run it .. we need full weapon pools for every raid and you can exclude some weapons like smg or sidearms .. but the main weapons need to be there with unique perk rolls that can only be gotten in the raid and unique raid perks for those weapons like extra oracle damage .. Really hope you guys rethink your approach cause your cutting your content short .. Other than I loved scourge and crown .. hope crown doesnt have the same low drops as scourge and last wish did for the raid exotic

Universal transmog Awsome!!! I was wondering does this change also applies to ghosts?
-
I hate this game and I hate Bungie even more.
-
Bungie you run your strip club well lately, with that silver store lul. :0
-
So.... Does "newly acquired legendary" refer to only armour from Shadowkeep? Or armour from Forsaken onwards? If only Shadowkeep that means F2P players can't use them correct? If only Shadowkeep does that mean Forsaken armour WON'T be updated to the new mod system?
-
Edited by MAFTEHE: 6/21/2019 7:52:04 AMAlright, just dismantled everything. Got over 10.000 Bright dust, but then i remembered this quote
it's just a prank bro
-
Edited by P-Bull94: 6/21/2019 7:09:01 AMI dont know if this is good or bad...
-
This news is very welcome!!!
-
What will you all plan to do with random rolled weapons being purchased from collection? I'd say give us all but the masterworked and curated rolls. We can go out and farm the bosses for the best roll. I think that would be fair. It's not like we're getting them for free.
-
So, seeing as the new legendary armors will have a new mod system, I have one main question Will this make our current gear outdated? Like how forsaken rendered all pre-forsaken armors obsolete. I feel the answer is yes, but I may be wrong
-
So you can only transmog with gear that you get from Eververse? Why not be able to Transmog everything? Oh I know, because you still want to keep the game centered around Eververse.

here for read shoppers cry for that

i just want some ghost voices i want Gilbert Gottfried screaming GUARDIAN DOWN at me
-
Why you can't just make ALL armor sets are unique ornaments? I'm ok to grind for perks, but having a chance to apply everything I have in collection as ornament will save a lot of nerves. Btw, what about year 1 weapons? P.S. I really hope Bungie will show how they see Destiny overall. Shadowkeep is worth last shot, but please do it right, guys!
-
Many players here complaining about everything has mental issues.

Edited by THA_3rd_GUY: 6/21/2019 2:00:37 PMIt sure is convenient how this is being announced around the same time that EA announced that they were changing the name of Loot Boxes in their games to Surprise Mechanics.
-
Please, PLEASE tell me there will be a way to get armor ornaments from old seasons. PUH-LEEEEZE
-
Does this include ghost shells? I hope not
