Obviously, he's not a titan because of his build. Destinypedia has him under ”not traditional class.” But I don't know if I could trust it. And if it's true then what type of class do you think he was during the dark age?
-
2 RepliesThere was a lore tab that described his class as 'multiple'. I don't remember which lore tab but I definitely remember seeing it.

You’re Shiro-4. You should know that

he's just another eva :3

3 RepliesHunter. He's Renegade Gunslinger [redacted]

Edited by Tilman G: 6/17/2019 4:18:50 AMThe Drifter is not a warlock(says so in the lore book that came with forsaken) I my personal belief is that he is a titan(he does have what appears to be a titan mark) He doesn’t have the usual build like a titan does, but also he is just wearing several layers of clothing, unlike titans and hunters who have actual armor. Edit: this would be past tense since the same lore book says he has shed all divisions of class
-
Neither. He’s Sub-Zero
-
CoasterChaser8 is correct. The divisions of Classes are simply creations of the Guardians of the City, which can be very useful and help Guardians find purpose and order, but can also cause limitations in how they think and use the Light. The Drifter does not follow the idea of Classes.
The Drifter does not belong to any of the classes, hence the name. In the lore book A Drifter’s Gambit (link below) it says he “has long since shed any pretensions of class or the limitations therein.” https://www.ishtar-collective.net/entries/bright-side-of-a-bad-idea#book-a-drifters-gambit
Officially, he is not affiliated with any class of guardians we are familiar with. However, he seems to be closest to a warlock based on his armour, as well as his willingness and desire to learn about dark power.
-
He’s not shackled by classes anymore
-
Pretty sure that during those times they didn’t have different classes, they were just risen.
-
I think he is one of the original guardians before factions Just on his own Drifting
-
Absolutely
-
-
What if he’s a sneak peek for a 4th class added in Shadowkeep or Destiny 3?? Just an idea 😊
-
He is neither. He is from a time before the iron lords, before the creation of guardian classes. He is a rouge light bearer. He is what I hope my guardian will become in D3. Not tied to any one class system, but a man capable of picking and choosing how to wield the light, and how to dress like a bad @$$.
-
He’s a fugitive.
-
None - hes a rogue light bearer
-
3 RepliesHe is his own man and never defined himself to a discipline we have in the tower.
