getting way lower light level gear, im 690 and getting 380 stuff
(i'm 690) i finished the menagerie and got a 380 sniper, all my friends didn't understand and we laughed it off..... i got to the tower to open a 700 PRIME ENGRAM and got a helmet which was 380 as well..... its definitely gear which should be higher and i'm definitely 690, i don't wanna do any challenges until ik its fixed which basically means i can't do anything

5 RepliesWould you mind starting to record your inventory immediately before completing a Powerful Reward quest or opening a prime engram, then immediately after? I've not seen this issue on the forums, and if you can get proof of what you're saying, it'd help greatly.

1 Replyanother update....got a luminos engram from hawthrone (after turning destiny off for around 5 hours hoped it would have done something). got an exotic which i needed....it was 380 again ...staring to not wanna get shadowkeep

2 RepliesThe Menegerie only guarantees a limited number of high light drops per week. So any drops after that could theoretically be at whatever the max light for that item could be. Let's say you got a Y1 sniper, it very well could come in at the max light for Y1 which was 380. I have NEVER seen a prime engram not decrypt at the proper level. I've seen picking up a Legendary Engram from the postmaster decrypt to this but not something you would turn into the Cryptarch.
