Game momentarily playing in slow motion
So I just got a new laptop (Lenovo Y540) and I downloaded destiny 2, and for the most part it runs pretty smooth on higher graphics settings. Although farily often, if there's a lot of stuff going on (doesn't even need to be that much), the game will just slow down pretty intensely for a second. It's not just an FPS drop, although that does drop, it's like the game plays at 80% speed for a second and then it speeds back up to catch up. Lowering the graphics hasn't helped. Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks
Edit: Some things that can cause it to slow down like that, having more than around 5 enemies, or the exhaust turbine part near the start of the game.

i7-9750H
GTX 1660 Ti
16 gb of ram

Sounds like your computer is hanging during this time which usually is a stutter effect that looks like a slowdown. The only fix I can think of is to make sure you new laptop is fully updated
