Recently, I’ve noticed when ever I go into multiplayer modes in Destiny 2, I sometimes lose connection to my game since the internet connection drops. The first time it happened was in quick play during a match and the second time was in gambit prime at the start of a match. I didn’t think it was problem since back in d1 I would alway get disconnected due to bad internet, however I realized that I recently got a new provider and a better connection. These happened in consecutive days of each other and in the afternoon. My internet isn’t that bad (I use an Ethernet in my ps4 and have 20mbps for download and 10mbps for upload) and have never encountered disconnections since forsaken came out. The second disconnection seemed to stop my internet working. From what I see from my router, it can’t establish a PPPoE or DHCP connection. Randomly, a connection does come through but only for a few seconds then it’s gone for minutes or hours. I’m going to contact my service provider anyway but I’m still curious whether I’ve been attacked or not. I have friends who’ve been through similar issues as well in the past, always in the pvp modes of the game. Btw this happened before PlayStation servers went down yesterday.
